    I automatically hate it because it's going to make people even more retarded. Too few people know who constantine is, let alone the fact he was horrilbe for mankind. Next time I"m discussing religion with someone and I bring up Constantine they're gonna ask what a demon slayer has to do with anything.

    I went to see it too. I was actually suprised, it was much better than I thought it would be. One of the few Keanu movies I didn't fall asleep through.

    the character in this movie is called John Constantine. he's a 'hero'. Maybe kinda like the original constantine who ruled Rome and brought about the change in policy from persecuting the Christians to letting them run the empire in around 3:16. whatever.

    what's more retarded than automatically hating something? holy cow. anyway, if they bring up constantine just keep to the topic. Keep focused, man!!! Pay attention! What the hell is wrong with you. Don't mention the demon slayer out of order and they won't get confused. man.

    My boyfriend was talking about going to see this movie. I haven't seen the previews, but he usually has pretty good taste in movies. If we go see it, I'll let you guys know how it was.

    That's probably because the musical score was so fucking loud...

    I personally didn't like it. The best part, in my opinion, is that they correctly portrayed Gabriel as being androgynous...

    Other than that, it seemed just a bit...I don't know...It just didn't strike the right chord with me.

    actually, i think he means that should he bring up constantine in a religious discussion, they'll think he's talking about this film, kind of like you just did.

    he's actually referring to the holy roman emperor, constantine. who i'd agree did a terrible disservice to western europe.

    I saw it and enjoyed it to a degree. I, too, liked the androgyny of Gabriel, although I kept really seeing it as a she, as the actress is. I kinda got turned on when she was stepping on Constantine's throat barefoot... even though her feet are kinda weird-looking. :p

    There were some things that the movie failed to explain, but otherwise it was pretty interesting, and I did like the portrayals by all the actors involved.

    OK, here's a quick summary;

    John Constantine is an excorcist/demon slayer. It's up to him to save the world from the birth of Mamon, son of Satan!~

    awesome!!!!
