I'd go. India/Nepal... The area is awesome from what I've seen. Probably one of the only forms of art that sparks my interest (aside from Italian).

Hindu art is just so complex, I love it. Just all the things to look at it. Even though it usually lacks background details, there's still so much to just look at. You should check out exoticindiaart.com if you haven't. The Sadhu's of Nepal/Northeastern India are pretty cool too, with their long hair and face paint.
