I'm pretty sure you can. I doubt they could turn anyone away if they said they were a danger to themselves. They wouldn't want to be liable if anything happened to them if they refused to hold them.
what country are you in, nemro? in the states, they might have to take you, but if you don't have insurance, they'll probably give you the boot pretty quick
I had a g.f. that would commit her self telling the doctors that she had suicideal thoughts and would check her self out later by signing a aginist med advice form . The ones that I have visited are not nice places , just staying there a while would make you crazy . desert rat
Half my family is in the medical field, and as such, I've seen a few Psych Wards. Some were nice, some not so much. I'm not gonna say if you should commit yourself or not, especially if it's just for shits and giggles, but if you feel the need to, do some research on the place before you do.
