Collections

I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll just pop it in here.

Does anyone have any collections?

I collect incense packets, beaded jewellery, postcards, and flag type material with groovy designs. I have them pinned to my ceiling.

Any crazy collections out there?

 

I've been collected postcards for several years, and I have about 300 postcards - most of them are home in America. The weird thing is I haven't bought too much postcards of Japan. But I'm going to Thailand tommorrow, and I'll be buying a lot of postcards - most of them to send to friends.

Well I didn't intend for the things I have a lot of to be "collections" when i first started 'hoarding' but I have a lot of Tarot Card decks, pretty fabric, books(tons!), odd cigar/cig. boxes, old keys, vintage suitcases...

 

books, vinyl records, local art (that ones easy b/c alot of my friends are artists)
vintage clothes, namely coats and dresses

 

I collect different decks of cards, pipes/bongs/bubblers (up to 27 very nice glass pieces would post pics but not sure of the legality/rules regarding that) I guess thats about it really.

I used to collect world coins, postcards (places I visited), little cards (like from discos, restaurant, pubs ecc..) and can boxes, but I'm too slack..I could have done it better...

 

those bread ties off of the bread or bagels

you know the little plastic colourful ones. Well it seems at my house i'm always the one to get the last piece of bread/bagel/whatever and I always through the plastic bag away and when i go back to the counter to make my toast theres a little bread tie chillin there. So out of laziness to turn around and throw it away and my lack of being a morning person. I stick it on the belt loop of my pants. I have a rainbow of them on my belt loops now

 

I use to work in a liquor store in Arizona, a looong time ago and really liked the beer delivery driver's cloth patches on his shirt or jacket and started collecting

beer patches. I now have over 1200 different beer patches from all over the world. I've never really cared much for beer itself.
I also avidly collect Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers underground comix, collectables and memoribilia. I've been collecting Freak Bros for over 30 yrs.
I have quite a big collection of Freak Brothers and Fat Freddy's Cat stuff. I love those guys! Peace.

 

I collect books and patterns. I just can't help myself. I buy patterns at thrift stores and yard sales. It's getting out of control. . .
