How do you have yours? I don't really know which coffee is the best. I used to really like Vittoria Arabica, but not I buy whatever organic fair trade ground coffee is on special. These are generally good enough. I generally use a plunger, its easy and makes good coffee. Sometimes I'll use a little caffetiere to make an expresso and add a lot of frothy hot milk to make a cappucino or latte. My Uncle orders his own fresh coffee beans from South America, roasts and grinds a small batch twice a week. Best coffee I have ever had, anywhere.
I used to be hardcore and only drink my coffee black, always. Now I like it with either honey or a tiiiny bit of sugar and sometimes soymilk. And i'm always down for a good espresso drink.
me too. I thought I was o cool what with my black coffee. But now I have one milk two sugar. yummy. And I LOVE to get starbucks/second up mochaccinos, but I havnt had them for awhile. I buy my own coffee and brew it at home. I buy fiar trade/organice, and I use travel mugs.
I, being a true pirate, am very upset to hear you're very upset. I would give you a tissue but I fear by the time it gets to canada you'll not need it. Besides, we can rob the tea cargo ships!
I like an espresso on occasion but I cannot drink a long black...weak coffee tastes gross without milk.
Strong and black... ya know, just like how I like my men, the ones that work for me doing menial tasks that is.
2 tablespoons of Pilon packed tightly in the basket of a three serving Bialetti moka pot. brought slowly to a perc then reduced and allowed to slowly brew. Poured into a mug with a pinch of nutmeg, 1/2 packet of stevia and a splash of sweetened condensed milk. I have this at 3pm everyday. Unbeatable.
I googled it. We call them cafetierres of espresso machines...they are pretty awesome. The indians use sweetened condensed milk in their tea. I will have to try this some time. Sounds very nice. I accidentally let my coffee brew for 20 minutes. I am buzzing like a mother fuckez!!!1
You have to use good coffee. I've found Pilon to be the best, though Bustello is pretty good. Folgers is ghey. Maxwell House is shite. I even tried grinding Starbucks french roast beans. Yuck. If I don't get my 3:00 triple shot I am worthless and will go to bed at 8pm.
Maxwell house is really, really bad. I always liked Vittoria espresso, its a good italian brand, pretty common in Cafes here. Sounds like you have completely different brands to us.
I've don't know that brand either. Cafe Pilon is a former Cuban company now operating in Miami. Growing up in Florida I learned to drink coffee from a Cuban neighbor and his Italian wife so it's no wonder I've always taken it that way
