soooo this might sound pretty juvenile, but I really need some advice! I was in a long term relationship and have been single for a good 5 months now, and have fallen for the first guy since my ex, I am not sure if he feels the same way, how can I hint to him harmlessly that I want to take things to the next level without making the first move (I hate making the first move.) I haven't dated anyone in forever and I feel so new to this dating thing again! HELP!

There's no need to "hint harmlessly"...just come out and tell him how you feel, and see if he feels the same way. It will be alot easier...he won't be left guessing, and neither will you.

Are you gonna let that stop you from going for what you want? What if he never makes the first move? Are you going to wait for him to get your harmless hints (and drive yourself crazy wondering why he doesn't), or are you going to do what you have to do? It's up to you.:)
