this is the best movie kevin smith has done if you havent seen it do yourself a fav and go rent it buy it or watch it at a friends it is worth the time.
Wonderful movie. I saw it just the other day while I was stoned out of my mind. Twas fookin hilarious. I agree that it is the best of Kevin Smith's work.
Well, what can I say after all the above posts. ? What can I possibly add to that? I guess I thought Clerks 11 was a real downer. I don't think I laughed more than twice, and most of the time I was shaking my head, wondering who was going to be watching this and thinking it was good. I don't appreciate the stoner humor I guess, even though I smoke cannabis on a regular basis. Maybe it is getting a little old, I saw Clerks 1 and I remember thinking it was clever, but I think Kevin Smith could have stopped there. I wouldn't be surprised to see more posters raving about this one. (TrieditandFriedit---Onetokeovertheline--FuckedupandLovingit--StonedtotheBone--ILaughatInappropriateTimes, etc). I do believe Kevin Smith was intending to make a film about working class America, yet didn't really make any strong points, or did he. Maybe it went over my head??? Or was it just suppose to be a stoner gross-out movie, with some possible pertinent, thematic content.? Hey I know we all have different senses of humor, and just so you can laugh a little,one of my favorite movies is called The Puffy Chair.....It is an independent film. Ha! Ha!
Smith's movies are never supposed to be anything but pure comedy. He doesnt mean to have a message in the end, he's just a unique story teller and his dialog is the best stuff in the biz. He has created his own universe with his own characters. He truly is a master of his craft.
I watched it on an airplane and definitley got some looks for laughing real loud, especially since there were people trying to sleep.
I have yet to see it. Every time I tell myself I am going to get it and watch it, I just zone out and it never gets watched.
i loved it. i love almost all of kevin smiths work. i wasnt expecting anything watching clerks 2 in fact i thought it would suck! it didnt. I was cracking up so hard in the theatre. its just great stuff. oh and in the dvd release they dont include my fave scene, only in the delete scenes. where the wall says "EAT PUSSY" and when a chick walks by jay says "oh we totally do' that just made me laugh so hard lol.
