Does anyone else here play one? I was thinking it would be cool to start a thread listing all our favorite songs to play, and possibly links to some notation or tabs to go with them. I' start with one I'm presently learning :

    Bach-
BWV 998 - Prelude - Lute Suite in Eb
    http://classtab.org/jsb0998p.txt

I love this song! (And Bach ;) )

Why is that weird? Shit, that is the ONLY style I play when Im high, smoking is how I got into it in the first place. But yea, Bach may not be the most techincal, but he is my favorite, I just love the way his music sounds on guitar or lute. I also learned this one the other week :

    Mozart -
Sonata K.331 in A major - Movement 3, 'Rondo alla Turka'
    http://classtab.org/wam331c.txt

A little advance for some, but if you know the song by heart it comes pretty easy.
BTW Im not a classical guitar master or anything, I've only gotten into about 5 months ago, so Im also a beginner ;)

seriously? Can ya really play it like they do?

Shit I learned to like 30 seconds but then I dont know this part I cant do it. Im kinda lazy

I imagine you as a real good guitarist lol . The bach song looks pretty hard. Actually the last person I heard playin bach on guitar is goin to be a proffessional musician. Told me something about sometimes having two melodies at the same time in the guitar, maybe it wasnt bach but anywas

Yea I can play it perfect, but I also heard it a million times. I think my brain is like those crazy people that know math problems off the top of the head, it's like when I play a song it just sticks in my mind like a picture. We'll have to jam if you come down ;)

Yeah I know what you mean.

Im more of a rythm guitarist though. I have a quest . I dont know it seems like it. To recreate something. Kind of like if the music lifts you up and blinds you if you look at it. There are chord association that do that. Sometimes theres like this typical church attender in my head. Shes black and cant help standing up and liftin her arms up in the air and sing when the gospel is playin.

Sorry im fuckin up your thread lol

here...you might know this we had it at school

Leyenda by Albeniz isaac ... You might find it easy, but good song for a new guitarist

Ya I've been playing classical guitar for uh... 10 years this february, but in the past year or so ive been drifting towards jazz and blues and rock n roll more.... you gotta expand yno....

the best classical shit to check out i think is segovia hes real good and a lot of flamenco is really good idno if you call that classical. Theres been a lot of renaissance lute music out for guitar nowadays too which is all good stuff.....

I still play jazz and blues every now and then, although I tend to lean more towards improvised ragtime sounding stuff. So I am actually expanding into classical lol.
And I like Segovia, but I prefer baroque over flamenco.
