Chunky Credibiliy

well i placed an order about a week ago and mailed the money order in on monday. and its now firday and still no email back from them. ive sent a few emails and called them a few tims with no answer to either.

has anyone else had this long of a delay for their orders. i really hope that im not getting scammed by this place. there was one other person on my other thread that said they have been waiting for a while now for their order also. \

i would like some other people to post some of their expericences with ording items from this site???

please post what you think about this site and the stuff that you have ordered also.

 

Hey man i promise its a legit place. I have placed 4 orders with them. 2 of the times, it did take them awhile to process the order and get it shipped out. And i paid with a CC. They are a reliable business and own a walk-in store, they have to process the daily customers, and when they get to it, the process the internet orders. They are a popular business, and get alot of business through the internet and mail. If for some reason they scam you, ill send you a used, but totally cleaned piece for free. I in no way work for them or know them. But i have done business with them, and would vouch for them any day of the week. Just keep checking your order status. And when it says it's been shipped....it really has been shipped. And even if you didn't register with them, wich i recommend so you can see the status of your order being shipped, i can pretty much guarantee your order will get there. Just be patient and let us know the details.

 

I've never used them, but did have a couple of buddies order when they were NWGA. As said they can be lengthy in time, but quality is worth it. I've suggested NWGA to many people.

mailing money orders = sketch way to pay, thats why it takes so long

get a visa, get a paypal account, things arrive in a week

 

i didn t think they accepted paypal or else i would have used it. i didnt see anything about it when i ordered. i would have used my debit card but im still waiting for it in the mail so i dont have it yet.

 

you can use paypal if you have a paypal debit card. That is the way i order. Since you sent a MO it takes awhile for it to arrive, then it takes a bit for them to process it, then it takes a bit for them to ship it out, then it takes a bit for it to be delivered. It will arrive, just be patient.

 

this was on the other thread that i first started. that post right there is what gave me the idea to make this thread. im still hoping that my order will come. ive done some searching and ive found other sites just like chunky that have some of the same products and a few even have the same phone numbers. i know one of them is a wholesale for a large orders but theres still other sites with just a few different items but mostly the same as chunky.

 

Dude, i posted proof that their products come through....that guy made his order on sep.25. That was less than 2 wks ago today....seriously, when a company is busy.....it takes some time.

 

i know i know im still confident they will come through. ive sent a few emails and i thought they would at least respond with they are busy or something. it doesnt seem like they would be that busy with all the free deals they are giving.

im just glad to hear that it took a long while for you also ill be sure to keep this thread posted on my order. i wanna post some pics of the pipes that i ordered. i really need them im tired of rolling

 

I wouldnt want to get a paypal debit card because I dont really use paypal that much. the things that I have used paypal with was with another persons debit card. I dont even have my paypal account verified because I havnt used it much and dont feel like putting my bank account on there.

I know that a money order takes longer but I thought they would send an email when they recieved it. I would think if I sent it out on monday morning it would have for sure gotten there by friday. I hope that they are just really busy and everything goes through fine. I just figured they would have replied back with something even a short message after the few emails ive sent :\

 

i've ordered with them a few times, and i have never once received an email. Thats why it really helps when you have a registered account with them, you can see the order status....when you order with them. MO you just have to sit tight and wait. I figured they would be able to send an email aswell, but obviously they are too busy or just don't feel like writing, Give it time, order will be shipped out shortly, to each purchasee.

 

how do i make an account with them? or do you just get an account if you buy with a credit card? i looked at their site and i didnt find anything about making an account.

 

haha, ya got me there....when they used to be North West Glass Art, they allowed you to make an account. I guess with the change of name and new website, they did away with accounts. Sorry for the confusion.

 

dang i thought maybe i could see the status of my order or something. i sure hope it comes through if it does i wanna order a new slide for a friend of mines water pipe since it got broken. i could see my order taking longer with a money order but the other people that used a credit card should have to wait 2 weeks or longer. it seems wierd how long some of the other people on here have said they have been waiting for thier items. im still thinking they will come through if they have before hopefully they are just busy.

i did notice that all of the pipe pouches are out of stock so i hope that doesnt delay my order. i ordered the small peace pouch one but its wierd how all of them are out of stock

 

hey man i ordered two pipes from them. the first one, i was worried it wouldnt come, cause i sent them a money order too. it took less than two weeks for me to get the pipe, from the day i sent it out. and i live on the other side of the country so thats pretty good. the second piece i ordered is incredible, far beyond any other pipe ive seen, hands down. it was the planetary frit twist or something, cost fifty bucks. it would have went for well over a hundred in a headshop, the thing is massive and thick and truely is art. so don't worry my friend, you'll get it, and i bet you'll be very happy with it.

 

oh and let me ad that the first time i ordered, i sent a bunch of emails too. i didnt get any replys. no worries .

 

thats good to hear i live quite a ways from where they are located also. thanks for all of the posts i just wanted to hear some other peoples experiences with him. i will be sure to post some pics when i get them.

 

Paid with my mastercard on 9/27/07 and I'm still getting the "Will Ship in 4-7 days". I have no problem with waiting longer, it's just a pain in the ass because I was sort of kind of hoping for it a week ago

Washington is less than 100 miles from me, but I suppose they could be understocked or something. I've been told several things:
1) They could have to actually make the pipes and such first
2) They could be out of stock and ordering in
3) Scam
4) They're REALLY slow so give it a couple months

I dunno which to believe.. by the looks of things; they seem legit. Crossing my fingers..
