Chocolatl refers to the Nahuatl word (Aztec language) for a bitter, frothy drink made from cacao beans, water, and often spices. It's considered the origin of the word chocolate used in many languages today. The drink was a significant part of Aztec culture, used in rituals, celebrations, and as a luxury item. Among the Aztecs, chocolatl was a drink of the gods, associated with magic and power. It was also used in social and religious ceremonies.

    Easy Chocolatl Recipe.

    1 ½ Cups Water
    ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder
    Green Chili Pepper, diced
    2 tsp. Vanilla
    4 Cups Water

Bring 1 1/2 cup water to a boil in a pot; add the chili pepper, seeds included, to the boiling water and cook at a boil for about 10 minutes. Strain, etc.
