i had chicken pox when i was like 8 it sucked ass, i was itchy all over, i still have a small scar from one of them on my cheek(it looks like a dimple), i hated it so much, i was wondering if everyone gets chicken pox cause i never really see any people with them.
i had it on my 13th birthday yay welcome to the teen world! nobody hardly gets it anymore because in the early 90's they started giving out the chicken pox shot. infact some schools insist children have the shot before they enter school.
I had it when I was in fifth grade, at the end of the school year, so I missed the school fair. I was bummed out. I have scars from it on my forehead, and also on my chest, although those you can't really see anymore. I have heard that if you don't get chicken pox as a kid, it can be very dangerous to your health to get them as an adult. I don't know why that is, however. -Jeffrey
2 of my brother's and I got it for christmas vacation yrs ago....damn I couldn't even skip school, what a waste of a vacation. My 20 yr old son had to have 2 vaccinations a couple yrs ago because he never got the chicken pox when the other kids did.
I had em....young. it was before I went to kindergarten and it was during halloween, that much much I remember.
this is because the adult form of the virus is shingles which attacks the nerve cells themselves and can cause permanent nerve damage. it is extremely painful. but actually the first onset of the virus is almost always in the chicken pox form even if you are adult so it's probably more risky for people who've already had chicken pox to get shingles.

mate if i could wrestle that great white last night, box with that kangaroo this morning and tackle that croc in my pool this evening (crikey!) i think i can manage a little scar on an unsuspecting american.

Kids today will not get chicken pox because pediatricians give chicken pox immunization shots now................ ~namaste~
