How's this for making you happy: In the past month: I found out my new probation officer overruled my old one and wouldn't let me move to go back to college. My brother, whos my best friend, left for Navy bootcamp. Four days later a very close friend of mine died. I got fucked out of a promotion at work. My hours got cut from 80-90 a week to less than 30 a week, rendering me broke and unable to come up with the rest of the money to get off probation. And the day after Christmas I became homeless. Things always look up though. Look at things as an isolated instance that will pass. If you look at the big picture it always seems worse than it really is.
Hahaha. That wasn't the point booga, although that would be worse. Point was that you can't look at things all as one big thing. Break 'em down, analyze 'em and move on. If you let shit build up and treat life as one big problem then it seems horrible and shitty, but if you assess them all one at a time it's not too bad. Edit: By analyze them I mean ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?". Especially if it seems to be a reoccuring problem in life. Rough times usually involve poor decision making whether somebody wants to admit it or not. Obviously there are exceptions that involve freak accidents and completely random circumstance, but I am to believe that those instances are few and far between.
