According to a Metro.co.uk post on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, top German fashion designer Wolfgang Joop reportedly said the Victoria's Secret model Heidi Klum had no place on the runway because she is 'too heavy'. She is one of the world's richest supermodels and famed for her gorgeous body - but Heidi Klum has been branded 'too fat' to appear on the catwalk. Well, that is quite obvious - Don't you think? For years the fashion industry has been criticized for promoting unrealistically thin women and this ass' comments just confirms how out of touch "fashion" is to real women. Who the hell they think are going to buy those clothes that the stick figures are modeling. As anyone can observe, outside of a famine area most women just don't look like the bony high-fashion models.
People need to stop paying attention to the fashion industry, it's stupid and such as waste, i can't believe catwalks exist, what a waste of time.
Yeah, I would hope grown women can see past the superficiality of comments like that. Its the young girls that get moreso negatively effected.
She looks fantastic. Healthy. You can tell she works out, she's wonderfully toned, beautiful. Not fat at all! What a messed up society we live in, I tell you.
By supermodel standards, yes, she is large. By normal standards she is still very slender and has a fabulous body! That fashion designer said she was too large for the catwalk, and by industry standards he is correct. If you take his statement out of context it would be rude, but look at what he's talking about. The fashion industry and media are fucked up, why do you expect this man to be the voice of reason?
Wow she had three kids and her body still looks that good? Thats impressive. Most people I see who have given birth don't look like that anymore. She might be bigger then standard model size, but she still has quite a slim figure, this is by no means fat. If that person used the words 'too heavy for catwalk standards' I can see what he might mean, but this is a normal/slim woman I'm seeing on that picture (and these words comming from someone who is skinnier then most models).
HAHAHAHA!!!! my goodness. some people are crazy, right? jeez, i like my women even a bit softer than her. there's absolutely nothing wrong with that body. it's still better than very nearly 100% of the human population.
