    hi there :)

In college atm so dont have much cash/time,

was wondering what would be the cheapest and easiest things to learn how to cook.

I usually just have stir frys and curries, but its getting a bit boring.

    Ideas?

    Thanks.

When U was at Ohio State I would always have rice ready (I'm asian too, lol). Marinade a couple chicken breasts in italian vinegarette. Put some broccoli in a cup, a couple drops of water, cover the top with plastic, and microwave for 2 minutes. Cook up the chicken breasts, and you have a nice meal on the quick.

Or buy bulk filet mignon (beef loin). I get mine for $6/lb, and chop it into half pound portions. Instead of having chicken for dinner, switch it out for beef. Or instead of broccoli put in fresh snow peas. You can get a nice gourmet, healthy dinner for around $3.50 or less that'll fill you up.

    Hi,

I'm thinking of going vegetarian myself. There is a great magazine and website called Vegetarian Times.

If you go to http://www.vegetariantimes.com and click on 'Advanced search' in the recipe section, you can check on 'Quick' and 'Easy'. Then you will get all the easy recipes that take less than 30 minutes to prepare. Hope this helps :)
