ive been running in my sleep.....

tired of running in this self inflicted hell

    ...devil’s hands

    small girl hands

    the drunken rape of her

    touching the soul

us that is her innocent sin

    greed breeding

warm touch on our cold hearts

    hands that are our own

to take our love, our god, my child

    devil eyes?

    to our own...

but rather she is but an open book

a lore past fortelling this war

    stop her...

    from running blind

into the black and white spaces

    walls...

into the hole that is her mind

black grins on her shut lids

"oh lord; great blind hatred, almighty fear"

    …truth?

    i have betrayed you,

    my god

    no apologies

I have forgotten…the whole in these walls

    where questions go unanswered

    hears the ocean in blood

drips of red on white carpet floors

    never stops ticking

    thump...thump...thump

    somewhere I cannot stand

    an hourglass struck

    a million bits of sand

    falling back into body...

into the burn of my feet

where the faces look the same

    a moment of infinity

but relief for us is in the waters...

and the light is calling on the crest

    falling with the tide

    questioning breath

where the the answers speak in waves

but i wont be swept back to shore

no, not back to earth, where she takes saftey on hot unforgiving sands

with water filled lungs she fears us

    i won’t go back...not to you...alone...naiive...scared child

and with each sweep we take her innocence

    innocent breath

    she is growing old..

    quiet now weary woman…

    wake up...walk alone.
