wondergirl--i haven't worn it yet. my wedding is july 16th. on the beach, of course...where else would you wear a beach scene wedding dress...i'll post pics afterwards.


supermommy--yes, it's a zipper, i asked her to make it so that i could wear a bra for this occasion

and it's three different pieces of fabric sewn together.

(hope you don't mind me answering, may)

i haven't even seen the finished product in person yet. i have to pay her first lol. (sending it out monday!) she did send it for a fitting midway through. also, she made a little dress with the sky material for my six year old daughter. aww. (i CAN sew myself and really i will soon--but i don't sew well enough that i wanted to attempt something so important, even though i didn't want formal.)

hahaha then you are going to love the plan for the wedding itself: beach party..shorts, bathing suit, beer...with SHORT pause in the afternoon for the vows...

 

That sounds great..and I bet your bridesmaids won't have to wear big puffy pink taffeta dresses lol. You better post pics afterwards

Good on ya...I know a girl that got married on the beach..she wore a huge traditional style dress,made the groom wear a tux,and all her bridesmaids wore these puffy dresses. I thought that was kinda strange,but whatever they want I guess.
