i have decided i am going to only use cash from now on. i got fucked by the bank a couple times in the last month, which means about $200 bucks in overdraft charges. i was really happy, let me tell you.

so imma go old school. i gots my paycheck cashed, i've got my moneys all rolled up into different rolls for the different things i gotta pay for, and imma keep all my receipts.

i'm sick of the stupidhead world financial crisis hitting me in MY finances. only moneys i'm keeping in my bank are for the automatic withdrawal of my car insurance money every month. everything else is in my pocket... just in case it all crashes down. :)

Well, I guess I pay my bills at my bank, so I just transfer money. But I believe I Could pay with cash for my phone bill if I wanted.

that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. are you serious? no cash payments? well shit.

i guess i'll put moneys into the bank when i need to make payments then, and keep the rest out.

it's the little purchases and gas stations that fuck it up.

apparently chevron doesn't go through right away. that's how i got fucked.

well out of the bills i have to pay: cable/internet, rent, electric, student loans, phone... basically anyone you have to mail payment to; too much risk in sending cash payments through the mail.

it makes sense if you think about it. if mailing cash was commonplace you'd have a lot of mail theft, and since cash is also the hardest to trace there's no way for you to say "look at my account, i paid this!"

student loans i understand. but can't you hand cash to your landlord? and go to the electric and phone and cable/internet company? i used to have everything set up online, where i could make electronic payments. but the banks are getting crazy for the time being, and i'm not trusting them as much as i used to. i'm not pulling out completely, but i wanna make sure i keep as much of the money i worked hard to earn as i can.

I love cash, I dont have to turn it in on my taxes :D

I sorta hope the dollar does flake out, I rather barter and trade, far more fun.

I do not like barter and trade. I dont want to give away something everytime I want something. (which is all the time).

ive read "the bank fucked me" and "thats how i got fucked" over by someone who was overdrawn on there account..

im failing to see how its the banks fault that you didnt keep track of your balance..
i have bills that dont clear for weeks at a time.. i know they are "outstanding".. i figure that in when im balancing my finances..

i always thought it was the person whos money it is and who is spending there money, responsibility to keep track of there money..

i dunno maybe they do it different in california..
