Can I just say that I hate spam?

I've been getting at least 2 capital one credit card offers every week (sometimes more) for like the past 3 months. So, finally, I got annoyed enuf to try to call to have my name removed from their list. Let's just say it takes an amazing amount of luck to find a way to actually talk to a human, to begin with. Then, I finally get to an actual person, I tell her I'm calling to have my name removed instead of calling to apply for a card, & she acts like a complete fucking bitch. And, of course, all common sense aside, she says it will take another 2 months for this "request" to go thru. WTF???

Yeah, so I'm just pissed off right now.

Don't apply for or use Capital One credit cards because they're assholes. And their APR is ridiculous, plus they charge an annual fee, but that's beside the point!

Those Capitol One bastards send me two or three of those things every week too. I have tried to call them but after 5 minutes I get pissed off. I just write return to sender and put them back in the mailbox.

I never had a problem with Capital One, but I get at least 2 offers per day in my snail mail from Providian. Those bastiges are killing trees left and right and it really ticks me off.

Providian sn't bugging me anymore. They were a while back then, everytime they sent me something in the mail, I would call them up and wait until I got a real person, then I would stretch the conversation out as long as possible. See how much money I can cost them in wasted payroll.

i work in a post office, so i see all those credit card offers go through the mail here. not only do they send them to EVERY person on the planet, they also send them to people like:
Son O. Bob at 1 Sesame Street
    and
Tom Turkey at 123 Bird Lane

just to name a couple... so...what the fuck? the assholes... but it does make sorting the mail slightly more interesting.
