Canadian bands? Djs? Artists?

Hey guys, I'm putting together a radio show that'll be rather experimental and covers a wide variety of music. The station's rules are that at least 35% of the music be Canadian Content. You guys have any canadian artists I should be checking out? This is, bands that have their music available to BUY. This is important, it has to be legally obtainable. Also, the more independent the artist or label, the better.


P.S. any genre, I will seriously be playing a very eclectic setlist with songs strung together through theme, so any style will be considered

For sure! I had never heard of them in my life, went to see another band here that I wanted to see, Monster Truck opened for them, and they kicked effing ass! Totally blew the place away. They kept chugging beer and playing louder and harder. They reeealllly know how to put on a live show. One of the best bands I've come across by accident in a long time.
