I don't like the taste of tap water in England, but it still doesn't stop me from drinking it... bottled water seems like such a waste.

In Brighton the tap water was really gross, we'd always filter it before drinking. Here it's alright and it actually comes out cold, we don't bother filtering it. Back home in Finland, tap water tastes aweome and CLEAN, and it's always ice cold straight from the tap.

But as long as the water doesn't make my insides rot and my teeth fall off then it's all cool.

My city is built over all these natural gravel filters so our tap water is fresh, safe & awesome without us even needing to treat it :)

I disagree, I can sense the taste of pure distilled water and find it very pleasing to my palate.

    Fun fact.

You can't be electrocuted in a pool of pure water. Pure water is a very poor conductor of electricity. The electrons of water are relatively tightly bound in the covalent bond of Hydrogen and Oxygen. When salt is dissolved in water, salt, the sodium and chlorine in the water solution provide enough free electrons to be able to act as a conductor of electricity.

So If I tossed a lamp into a bathtub (comprised of a non-conductible composite material) and filled with water, I would have no fear of being electrocuted?

I went to JC in Coalinga,Cal and there were 3 faucets in everyone's kitchen. They had to haul water from other towns and you only drank out of the designated faucet, unless you had a fondness for the shits. The closer to no taste is best.

I know the water up here tastes a hell of a lot better than the water in Dallas or even Amarillo. Big-ish and big cities have shit water.
