can someone help me

I have to do a project thats due tomorrow for school and me and my friend have to tell it from a hippies piont of veiw can you tell me what you say act like and belive so I have a better understanding

we're each individuals.. so i don't know how i can speak for everyone else on this. but i personally believe in the following: money creates hate, religion creates too much hate (not that it doesn't have its pluses) and capitalism is fucked up. love is the only answer there really is. freedom of speech and expression are some of the most important things a person can have. my clothes are just there to hide me from the world. it doesn't matter if they match, or if i wear shoes at all. earthly drugs are gifts from our world, not things to be punished for. yelling and violoence gets no one anywhere. this life si one of many, that i must take in as much knowledge from. when each soul becomes a close to perfection as possible, they become flowers. hugging a tree has always been better than cutting one.
is that enough? again, this is just me. there are so many people in the world. i can only speak for one. but nathan probably can really help you a lot.

I can only speak for me, but, the truth is, most hippies have very similar ethics. We are all different though.

I agree with MaryFairy as well its all true. We're all individual and like to please people (well I do anyway) and be free and not be too bothered of what people say or think of us.

I might add that hippies only want to live simply and not pollute the earth. They mind their own business and don't want to hurt or judge other people. They are more tolerant. They don't expect everyone to be like them they just accept. The established institutions of society do not serve them because most institutions require you to conform to their way of thinking and to step on other people's backs to get ahead. That is not cool. They are smart enough to condut their business without that crap. In the sixties the idea of doing drugs was to expand your mind and to help you be more chill. Then it got freaky and the govt. just made things worse. Peace is the goal. Protecting the earth and its resources because your kids and grandkids need a good clean earth to live on. Like that song "From a Distance" that Bette Midler sang. Some live communally so they can achieve those things without the need of a job that some capitalist greedy CEO is providing them so they can get rich off of their work. While the CEO is at an exclusive expensive business luncheon the real working people are making their paycheck and barely getting by on it. ..... I could go on but I won't.
