Can I hit your bowl

So me and my friend rob where walking outside our turf. and we saw this dude. wait I have to get into the usual. usually we roam our turf. (about five blocks in either direction from his house, which is in essex maryland) we see some of the people that you'd find in our neighborhood, and we can usually walk by someone in an ally taking a few hits and be like "can I hit that?" and we always get the ok. and we do the same to others. so anyway we were walking and this guy is sitting on the steps smoking a blunt, and Rob goes "Ay lemme hit that?" and the guy goes into this spiel about how we didn't put anything into it. and were getting more and more of this. s my question is...
What happened to the unity that this leaf was suposed to bring? since when did my area adopt this whole *hisssss* Mine! attitude? and don't get me started on the prices....

 

The man probelly spent his last dollar to buy it, & doesn't feel the need to support your habit if you didn't throw in on it. Anyway, why are going around grubbing anyway? I hope you return the favor to some of these people when you got smoke.

 

i dont let strangers hit my shit, especially at parties. EVERYONE WANTS TO SMOKE WHILE THEY DRINK it would not get around the circle twice with even a 1.5-2 gram blunt! and no one ever wants to buy. my 2c

 

I always share, I'd rather share than smoke by myself. And that's just what we do here. And I would understand totally If they spent there last. but sometimes I'll have some smoke and were at a gathering, and others will have some, they have no problem smoking my shit but when it comes down to returning the favor they'll whine about conservation and smoke it right in front of me. That shit burns me up.

 

2 people is much different than at a party tho. If its friends on the other hand i will smoke as many of them up as i can, but a gram wont last long when all your friends smoke (like a day in the vap being very conservative).

One of my smoking buddies has become sorta like that. He'll chip in when we want to buy a 1/8 or a 1/4, but he always insists on holding on to it. He becomes very controlling with it, even on the occasions when he contributed very little in obtaining it. He even hits some of it behind our back. Its really pissing us off.

 

me and my close friends always smoke with each other when we have bud regardless of how much bud we have. if theres five of us and all we have is a bowl pack id rather have each people get two tokes out of it and catch a buzz then have one person get stoned a lone. i like not having to keep track of shit and ask people to throw down, we always know it will come back around. even if i have an ounce ill smoke it all with my boys because i know ill get it back. some people i know make everyone like throw down 3 or 4 dollars or something every time they smoke a blunt. thats beat, id only do that if i was driving and had no gas or something.

Unity and helpin others enjoy themselves has been shit on for awhile it seems. Me and my friends used to give some up that we paid for just so someone who hasn't had it in awhile (or ever) could. We still had a good time, and like said before we know it'll come back around in time. And what's a J from your stash anyway? Not enough to be worried about. Well nowadays most smokers are very stingy about sharing their crop so its makes it alot harder for others to be diffirent only because for some people its probaly hard to obtain for them. In any case i share with anyone who has some good dope etiquette and is friendly(on my own time) and at partys i usually roll 30gram cannons to get the party going good. As for friends, i will never ever leave a friend unsmoked unless my stash is out at the time or he's already smoking me because sharin feels good always and heightens my buzz nice and high.

 

If a stranger asks me for a session on my spliff, wherever it is: the street, a club, party, festival, whatever I'd feel like a dick if I said no unless it's like my last joint and there's only a like little bit left. It's the same with people when you're in a club or whatever and you're sweating out so you ask if you can have a sip on their water instead of queueing for ten minutes and they look at you like you've just asked if you could sodomise them.

Obviously if you have a loads of people all trying to take your spliff off you then tell them to go easy but it's just being selfish otherwise & screw selfish people.

At the end of the day it's only weed, no need to cry about it because you missed out on 10 tokes by doing something nice for someone else. I'm not one to rant about karma but if you share it will come back to you...

 

Don't lite a joint or blunt on Venice Beach California with the intent to share if you expect to ever hit that joint or blunt a second time. Because all of these free loaders are just waiting in the wings for some kind person to mention sharing and a crowd will descend on you like sea gulls on pizza and it will all be gone and they will vanish waiting for the next generous sucker to wander into their vulture picking turf and never say thanks or talk to you at all.

I don't mind sharing, but that was horrible, the circle kept getting bigger and bigger until the joint was gone. That's not the kind culture. I share if it's one or two people, even strangers, but not like that again.

 

the way i see it is, get high now, get high later. if you help someone out, it's not like you won't get high ever again. it's a very nice gesture and if they're nice people, they'll return the favor.

 

I'm not whining or anything, It's just I figured our community would have a little moregenerosity under their belts n all. especially since were dealing with people we see on a daily basis.

ya if your my friend i would let you hit my bull i might even give you some to take home if you were out of weed and cash but im real generous

 

i wouldn't just smoke anybody up. if my friends or i knew them then sure, i'd most likely smoke them up. but if it's my last session with the weed or am broke on munchies or bus money, i'd just ask them if they could spot me, after we feel nice after the session.

 

You're talking about essex bro, a lot of people down there aren't very well off man. If they are workin a shitty job all day and scrape together some dough to spark a blunt on their stoop, cant hate on anybody for that
