Just got back from the most wicked camping trip I have taken so far. And we managed an 5 hour car ride to there, and then 3 days later. driving 5 hours again. My kids even liked it very much. beautiful toiyabe national forest in nevada, highly recommend it. so glad to be back though bc I am pooped.
Nevada camping, that must have been amazing. My parents just got back from the grand canyon actually. I didn't know it was like 2 miles above sea level? its hot as hell during the day but cold as shit at night . . . high altitude deserts, can never pack the right clothes
Very nice sounds fun, I love camping and backpacking. The feeling you get whilst being away from everything is so nice. I camped a couple nights at Big South Fork National Park in Tennessee about two weeks ago. We ate mushrooms and let our adventures begin!! Much fun, much fun.
yEAH it was an blast!! the first night we had to stay in an hotel just bc we got there around 11 pm ,and the campground wasnt open. But the next morning we got this perfect spot. It was right next to an bunch of trails on the mount charleston. 2nd night our kinkajou decided to perch itself in the top of our tent and it was really cute. I have to say nevada has some really beautiful mountains and it always annoys me when people think it is only about las vegas, there is so much beauty there. and I personally dont like vegas much. I forgot my digital camera and so we got two disposable cameras, which I am getting developed this week. Can not wait to see if any of the pictures turned out .
Very nice, campings always a good time. A couple of my friends are at the Rainbow Gathering in PA as we speak... Myself, I just got back from a festival yesterday... two weeks and its GratefulFest and then the week after that I'll be at another fest... also I just got back from spending 3 months wandering around out West... my spring/summer has been totally awesome thus far, and its looking like its gonna continue to blow my mind
Camping is fucking AWESOME! me and my gf are going up to the North Shore(Minnesota).. in august.. gonna camp for a week and different camp grounds

LOL but anyways Iam off to take an break oh with my daughter. can not wait to do camping again. can nto go so far this next time, bc that is the first 3 day weekend he has had in awhile and will have. but we try to go at least once an month.
First Rainbow Gathering I went to was in Nevada, on the Jarbridge River. We had to go to Idaho & back to get there.
i love camping, go at least once a week, even if it can be more accurately described as getting fucked up around a fire.... best fuckin time of my life though was when i was like 10, went on a two week camping trip with my family, stayed in yellowstone, badlands, rockies, etc was fuckin amazing.
Camping for a few days sounds nice. Glad you enjoyed yourself. The only parts of Nevada i've been to have been very dry, flat, and boring but i've always seen those mountains in the backdrop and was always curious about them.
