It's only the middle of November and I'm already missing going camping. It's too damn cold to go now...and won't be warm enough until at least April now. Yeah, I know, call me a wimp, but I can't camp when there is freezing temps at night. Forget it... I wanna go camping in my tent and cuddle up in a sleeping bag and listen to crickets chirping and wake up to birds singing...I even miss waking up in the morning sweating my ass off because the sun beating on the tent makes it like a sauna in there. I want it to be summer again :crybaby:
I will accept winter more when there is snow on the ground and I can go sledding, skiing, dogsledding, and ice skating. It's just a weird time of year right now.
I also miss camping already and we went only a month ago.... Ill probably go camping again the first weekend it gets nice out... (maybe March or April?) Yeah... curling up in a sleeping bag in a tent is so much fun... and so cozy... I love it....
we've been talkin bout squeezin in 1 more campin weekend before it gets too brutal and that'll hafta hold us till feb i know just how ya feel maybe ya can setup a tent inside, and putrt on 1 of those sounds of nature cd's and try to convince yourself that your in the woods but it just never will be the same if this winter sux too much tho, i might just go campin in my livin room and try to pretend its summer
but its fun camping in -0 weather get a tent with a stove in it and it keeps it mighty warm....then you can go x-country skiing, ice climbing, and all that cool stuff
Gosh, that's a great idea! My cats would drive me nuts though climbing all over the stupid thing LOL and scratching at the door so they can come in.
My tent wont fit in my living room My cats would have fun with it too... tearing it up that is.... And I dont trust tents with stoves... seem dangerous....
And a shit ton of blankets......Ohhhhhhhhhhh.......I can feel it now...... Sweet Sweet Camp, oh how I miss thee....
or instead of paying for it, can just steal it haha they're wicked warm though. i slept next to the stove and i didnt' need the sleeping bag and outside was -60 at some points
