Hey, I was thinking about visiting San fran this year and I know the marijuana penalties are very leniant in that state. If anyone here is from California I was just wondering how the police treat people that smoke marijuana. Also, I really don't now anyone in Cali, so would it be too sketch to ask someone working at a head shop about local plants? I hear San Fran is hippy central so I'm sure I will enjoy the city regardless. I appreciate the help.
i wouldn't ask a person working at a headshop (they believe they are supposed to calll the cops if you try to buy any pot from them). just go to the haight and ask some kid on the street. (i lived there for a year). have fun. its the best place in the world.
