Google Radio Active Byron Bay and check with the University in Lismore for ongoing studies.

Byron Bay Australia, and surrounding hills are no longer hippy havens, Byron hasn't been for more than 12 years.

Byron's an over priced yuppy tourist trap, ask the locals.

It's also radio active, toxic waste dump covered up by the Australian government - check with the local university, they've been doing studies on it for years, and long time local residents of 20 years or more.

Byron hippie mecca ended some time in the 1990's what's left now are working holiday packpackers in tie-dye t-shirts and glued on dreads for tourists, no joke. Tourists wouldn't know a real hippie if one fell on them that's why they think there's still a hippie scene there, but reality is it's fake.

Real hippies are more likely to get busted in byron, cause the yuppies don't like them and call the police if they see a real hippie a mile away, so real hippies stopped going to byron. Even the rich hippies left, check the real estate listings for all the million dollar hippie houses and farms for sale, those places are empty, nobody there no more.

The hills are now filling up with retirees and million dollar homes with floral curtains and matching slip covers.

sorry to burst your bubble, please spread the word

Byron and surrounding hills are hip anymore
