I am getting my butt tatooed! a friend of mine started tatooing a while ago, first on pig skin, then on herself, and now a flatmate of mine, and her work looks pretty kool. So I am going to be next. I want my nickname on my butt! *giggles* This wish has a little history, from 9th grade in highschool. I looked like a cabage-patch-kid, and they have their names on their butts. So there I go...
That is hilarious! I remember that about the cabbage patch kids...always thought it was kinda weird that they'd put that there. I had one when I was little...can't remember it's name...started with a B. Hmmm... Anyway, that's pretty funny. I usually think the nickname tattoos are dumb, but since you have such a hilarious reason for it and its only on your butt, I think it's a great idea. I worked with a girl who had her name tattooed across her neck...BAD idea. It looked awful.
Yeah, having the name on a visible space is a really stupid idea, I mean, I don't want everybody knowing my name. But on my butt, only my boyfriend will see it, and that's ok. The butt is also a good place, in case she messes up. (She's really good from what I can tell, but you never know)
Cabbage Patch kids had the signature of their inventor on their butts, not their own names! His name was Xavier Roberts (and yes it's sad that I know that)

my butt is covered as an exstension of my backpiece. Anyway, the really annoying part is sitting on it while its healing. The first day or two I just walked around naked.
yeah, I imagined the sitting part. I plan doing in on a day that I can spend lying in bed or in the sun all day, and the day after that hahaha, nekkid :-D
NOOOOOOOO SUN!!! Sun is death for a tattoo. Basically, a tattoo is like any other ink; it will fade in the UV light(just look at the window side of a set of drapes). Anyway, sun is probably one of the best ways to ruin a great tattoo. Wait until it is healed and keep it covered whenever possible and sun block the snot out of it when its not. Peace
good that you said that. I knew it, but kinda forgot. would have been no direct sun anyway, since I just don't go to lie in the sun to get tanned. It would have been more something like lieing on my bed, and open window, and sun doesn't come in there.
