Busted @ School!!

Today at school, last period of the day was double-period.

I had gym with my friend, and we decided to skip to smoke a bowl...in the pouring rain...and then come back to gym.

By far the most retarded shit I've ever done.

We came back, and the assistant principal saw us. Questioned us about why we were wet / coming in from outside. We had no good excuses...I had just given the bud to my friend cause he was gonna roll a blunt later that night.

He took us up to our grade's dean's office. They searched us. I opened my pockets. Phone, white lighter (myth is definitely true btw), wallet. They looked in the wallet where there was over $400 (just had my birthday). Fuck. Fuck. Fuck! "There appears to be a large amount of cash in here," our dean said. With the combination of the weed...this could easily lead to being charged for dealing.

He looked through my jacket, which he said "smelled like smoke". Inside, he found my orange pipe. Fuck fuck fuck!

They searched my friend...they found a bag with about 2g's in it. "That's quite a large amount," the dean said.


It was unreal. I was convincing myself that it wasn't a dream for at least 15 minutes. We waited for the school officer to come. Then he came and breifed us about cooperation, etc, while waiting for our parents to come.

Here is where it got interesting.

My friend's mom came, while I was escorted to the office with another assistant principal, who is a middle-aged woman! I have never talked to her before, but still, I was pretty smacked and in a good mood to start up a conversation. She seemed friendly enough, too. We sat down in the chair in a nearby room. I noticed a chessboard.

"You wanna' play chess?!" I asked her.
"Well, no..not really. I haven't played chess for years."
She went on to tell me about how she taught her brother to play chess when they were younger cause it was his lifelong dream. I kept the conversation going to pass the time.

30 minutes later, after intense discussion, she invited me to stop by her office later to look at pictures that she took while scuba diving in Belize! I was loling on the inside about the situation as a whole.

We waited in until my dean came in with my dad, and the assistant principal who caught me. We talked about it for a while, and the assistant principal was trying to use all of these metaphors and life stories to make subtle messages to me. For example: "Yes...that reminds me...when I was a boy, I did some very naughty things. It is easy to throw your life off track *looks at me*, but is not easy to fix your life *stares me down while i look at table*"

After a few minutes of that talk, the assistant principal who caught me sent me back to the dean's office, where the officer and my parents were. After a few minutes of questions and talking, where I was very cooperative and friendly, they sent me outside. On the way out, I swear to God, I heard the officer say, "Wow, it's 4:20 already?" after looking up at the clock, to my parents.

After 15 minutes or so, my parents came out and I was free to get my stuff and leave. The situation with my birthday money was solved, and the cop was nice enough to let me out without a court date. Although, he says, if he is suspicious within the next year he has the grounds to charge me.

This has really made me realize that smoking pot had become way too large a part of my life. It should be a recreational thing that you do like once a month and really enjoy. I was doing it sometimes 3-4x a day and on the weekends, I would plan them around getting high basically. It also created lots of tension between me and my parents.

All in all, I think it was a good life lesson and I got off pretty easy with 5 days suspension. My parents are pretty disappointed in me, though...mostly for my bad judgment.

I did almost the same thing sophmore year. It was one of the biggest learning experiences I've had. Don't risk your education by taking anything to school again.

Its going to be difficult to gain your parents trust back so dont fuck up in the near future.

 

You got off pretty easy and should be thankful. Just don't bring it to school, it's not worth it. I remember I used to buy in school sometimes and it would make me fucking paranoid all day. I never bothered smoking in school because I'd be too wide eeyd.

my mom has the biggest mood swings though

everything was going great until she called her lawyer friend who told her that i could get in trouble at any time for some reason

and then she lectured me about how i have to realize that all my life's problems in the last year were because of pot!

this is bogus...but she won't listen. luckily she took me to our family therapist on friday and the therapist will be able to hear my side of this shit in the future.

my drug counseling starts tomorrow...somehow my mom thinks that they are going to ask me to rat people out (that's what the cops do, though...) and that i should be prepared

Sometimes this is how I see it, as long as it doesn't affect your schoolwork, smoke away.

 

Smoke before school, never bring any with you. Your rights are severly limited in school.

 

STOP taking WEED TO school... ONCE your on school grounds STAY on school grounds.. INDOORS....
With ppl bringing guns into schools its becoming policy to tighten the schools access.. by locking you in there intill sessions are over...

Thell force feed you education through terror.. wtf ... like we didnt know it would come to that...

 

had my counselling meeting today. it went ok. i'll probably just have to take 6-10 drug classes over the next few weeks. no big deal i guess.

but no more weed for me at least until i can prove that i am a responsible student and i'll definitely have to wait till the summer

 

that sucks that you cant smoke, but its also a good thing at the same time. taking a good long break to get your priorities in the right order can be good. and when you start smoking again, you'll get super high.

I am glad I got caught though...I have some serious issues with my mom that really need to be worked out and hopefully that can be taken care of in therapy now that I have come clean with my parents

 

they have decided to charge me with possession (not sure of either the pipe of some green in the pipe)...

word got around... parents found out... other school administers found out... cops talked to them privately. They were probably forced to place charges just to make an example of you.

 

i got busted when i was a freshman haha. drugtesting and probation for six months..

 

Yea, as long as you still have good grade...toke it up! But don't let the grass controll you enough to think smoking at school sounds fun. Too many of my friends in the past were kicked out of school for getting caught. Not worth it.
