Prefer Pilots. I think they had a bit more depth. Bush in it's time was good but not very introspective. Gavin has a new band now...Institute.

 

hmm prefer stone temple pilots also, very good i saw scott weiland last year with velvet revolver, he was fab, they played some pilot songs also which was fab

to me their music is just alot stronger, right now Everything Zen is my fav. but I can't pick one overall


I don't like Velvet Revolver all that much, I love the guitar of course, but I don't think the singing is quite right with the music, I was blown away when I saw who was singing, I dunno why I don't like him in VU but I just don't
and as for my fav. Stone Temple song it would probably be Big Boom Baby just cause of how well it works wiht my bass

 

I hate Bush. The Pilots did a lot of awesome things after they got off the grunge thing-- I'm in the minority, thinking the last three albums are the best.

I like Bush better, but then again I'm one of those Europeans stuck in America types that tends to think the more popular Grunge ruined American Hard Rock. I like Soundgarden/Audioslave better than STP/Velvet Revolver and Bush better than all of them.

 

Hmm...see I think Sound Garden and STP are sweet and its VR and Audioslave that is junk.

STP I like better than Bush...Tiny Music is a real dope album.

Both STP and Soundgarden are legendary...Audioslave is so-so, Velvet Revolver is...ugh.

If you like STP, I recommend Life of Agony (Weiland's side-project). Only the old stuff, like River Runs Red, as the newer stuff (Broken Valley) uses some new vocalist that totally sucks.

I prefer STP. I really only like Bush's "Sixteen Stone" album, and not much after that. I've liked most of the Pilots' stuff though, excluding a few albums here and there (Shangri-La Dee Da anyone?). I'm not a fan of the Velvet Underground either, though I do own their sole album.

I like STP way better- Scott Weiland is so sexy and has an amazing voice...the band just has way more spunk and musically they sound tighter.

 

I don't like Bush at all. As far as ruining American hard rock goes, to me they are the beginning of the end.

Stone Temple Pilots: Sin (maybe)

I think STP are very underrated. They were always accused of ripping off Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam...I don't see it, and I like them better than either of those bands.
