Burning cds

    how come I can only get 10-12 mp3s on a cd when other people can get hundreds?

    They are either burning data discs or mp3 disks... chum....p

    first off,
    does your cd player support mp3's

    second:
    if not it converting them to CDA(wave) format and it takes up TONS of space.
    your 4 meg song becomes 50-75 megs etc...

    I'm not too much into this burning cd thing - I'm from the old school but I think the best way for you to burn a cd Jugaboob would be to just throw it into the fireplace.

    A CD hold 700 meg. It all depends on the file size that you are burning.

    one thing to consider is the quality of music in mp3 format is considerably lower than that of wav format. besides, most cds cost 20 cents and have 80 minutes of room on them, so what's the big deal if you can only fit 10 to 15 songs on it?

    The only way youre gonna fit 100s is if you don't make an audio CD and you just load the .mp3 files on there.

    approx 150 mp3's should fit on a data cd 80 minutes of stereo playable music

    unless you people have mp3 cd players. ide like one a them
