Anyone know about him? I just started listening to him after a friend burnt me a mixed disc, not as good as Joe Satriani but worth hearing.

i just saw buckethead like a week ago with that 1 guy, you should check out that 1 guy hes done several tours with buckethead and i think he played on some of his albums but im not sure. he plays a home made insturment called the magic pipe, its kind of like a double whamola type deal with a loop and sampler wired into it, and he basically plays the bass, samples, drums, and sings at the same time.

"peace the fuck out" -i was at that concert too

man that guy is weird. He used to play with primus, I've seen a few DVDS of those shows. His tone is unique, but he really isnt playing anything that complex. I think his look just makes him seem insane more than anything.

I kinda wonder what he actually looks like. He must be really ugly or something, then again, what if he's a well known guitarist hiding his appearance. I've heard that if he isnt wearing his mask, he covers his face and makes people talk to a puppet. Pretty strange.

EDIT:I just looked at his wikipedia. His name is apparently Brian Carroll. That pretty much takes the fun out of the mystery.

whoa whoa whoa now. none of you are giving buckethead his dues. he is a very eclectic and experimental guitarist, and while i dont really care for a lot of his harder music, electric tears is a beautifully moving album. he is probably one of the most talented guitarists in the business. shame on you for saying hes rubbish.
