I hate these dolls! Have you guys seen them? They are supposed to be these cute little representations of 2yr old babies, but they have make-up on to look like porn stars, and the dressings of a hussy to match! It makes me sick to look at little baby-baby dolls with their skirts hiked up to their butt cheeks and showing panty. I mean, honestly, if I knew a sex offender, they would make a great gift. But for my kids? Forget it! There is enough objectifying of women as it is, and here we are, fuck, let's start on 'em as fucking soon as they can walk! Forget the pull-ups, let's just get them some baby thongs. "oh, woudn't that be cute?" Barbie was one thing...at least she had taste! Perhaps poor taste, but unless she was handed over to a young child, she usually retained most of her clothing. These Bratz Babyz would die of exposure at my house, even before getting manhandled by the little girls. I really think it's sick. I would NEVER EVER buy my child a babydoll that I felt could get arrested for indecent exposure. My good god, what are we teaching our children? Kids and Babies are NOT SEXY CHILDREN ARE NOT SEXY THESE TOYS ARE EVIL AND VILE. I'm going to go throw up now. Thanks for listening.
little girls will be trying to pull their noses off and stretch out their eyes and lips... nevermind trying to look sexy
I never paid much attention to them but what I have seen is that there faces are extremely demented. Never in a million years would I have played with one as a child.
i just googled them, cause I haven't seen them, I agree they are pretty vile and I'm not against dolls at all. funnily enough I watched a christmas tv programme today about odd toys and some one said that the bratz dolls are basically sluts, that should come with a range of drug items and boyfriends that beat them up! S
*claps* i agree, completely. it's fucking horrible. and little girls seem to *love* them. i don't have the mind of a child, but i'm just sort of hoping it's not seeping through to them. like, they say barbies fucked up little girls' images of themselves... but jesus, these dolls aren't even... attractive. they're just little sluts.
My little cousin has one. I think they are really ugly and slutty. There is a Bratz movie out too, I haven't seen it, but I heard bad things about them.
Umm..Yeah where the hell is her nose? http://www.etoys.co.uk/images/bratzbabies.jpg Rather twisted, I agree.
actually i think if they weren't a kids toy, i'd like them in a junko mizuno, mari chan ripoff kind of way. or maybe i do like them anyway. shirley temple showed the world her ass. what is the difference? no matter how little kids dress, they're not gonna be sexy. they're born naked. i kind of don't get why it matters. i played with barbies growing up and i NEVER thought i should look like her.
My little girl, who is 3.5 years old, has seen them and thinks they're "sooo pity". (That's how she says "pretty") Honestly, I think they're way too old yet for her yet, so she doesn't have any of them. We stick to fairy dolls, mermaids and princesses instead. I don't hate the Bratz dolls, but I definitely think they're a bit too "sexy" for little girls. Unfortunately we're living in a society in which we constantly are pushing children to grow up much more quickly than they should. I'm trying my best to sheild my own children from that, but I'm seeing that the older they get, the harder it is.
I never thought I should look like Barbie either. I simply played with the dolls, and never really thought much about Barbie's figure. I was more concerned with brushing her hair and putting pretty dresses on her. The only thing I remember thinking was that her legs seemed too long, and I thought it was kind of weird looking. Then again, I've always had shorter legs to go with my shorter height, so that could be why. If anything, the only thing I wanted from Barbie was her gorgeous hair!
Yeah I never thought I had to look like Barbie either. I didn't even realize that she was so thin and "sexy" looking. I just would make her cook, and put clothes on her, and talk and stuff.
I think adults try to get children to grow up faster, out of their own selfish desire not to be tied down and it's a way to avoid personal responsibility Hotwater
So I see my opinion of these dolls is not a singular one. Perhaps I came off strong saying I "hate" the dolls...I just strongly disfavor them enough to feel sickened. lol I know Barbie was one thing, and there was some hooplah surrounding her too: but as a kid, I didn't really think about her sexuality. I guess maybe I'm just seeing it more blatantly as an adult....but still, dammit. If Barbie had come all sluttied-up in her box, I'd be just as sickened. I mean, sure, we all explored the sexual role model of Barbie, but my Barbies cooked and cleaned and got dressed up..like mommies do...these little Bratz Dolls go clubbin and street-walkin and who know what. I just have one question left... where are the Pimpz Action Figures? We need to get the boys in on this wagon ride. New Pimpz Action Figures, with real bitch-slap action!! Also, pull the string to hear phrases like..... "Bitch betta have my money!"..... "Put down da crack pipe!"..... "A ho what don't blow don't make no dough!"
I have never like bratz dolls, let alone the babies. They're sluts and children shouldn't be exposed to them. No wonder young girls have body issues.
I agree wholeheartedly. It's marketing like such that makes 8 year olds want to go on a diet. Hell, I didn't even know what I diet was at that age. Young girls should be worried about playing with their friends, daydreaming, getting out of taking a bath, not going on a diet! I have no daughters, but if I did, I'd be damned if I would let her play with something like that!
Barbie baby dolls were babies. They weren't dressed like...those Bratz things..I mean those baby dolls wear more makeup than I do! Ick.
