i just got braces, hopefully ill only have them for a year. my teeth werent too bad at all. but my question to the girls of our forums is, is braces a major turnoff or a dealbreaker. or do you even notice or care about braces or not. be honest. thanks. i wish you all happiness.
I wouldn't have a problem with it. My only problem with braces is that I had to have them for almost 4 years! Ugh!
well, in all honesty, they're a bit of a turn off for me. Doesn't mean I'll refuse to date a guy because of them, just wouldn't find them as physically attractive as I would without.
i had braces for almost 4 years, too! yuck! and they originally told me it would be about a year and a half...double yuck! i was 12 when they went on and 16 when they came off! but i never had any trouble because of them...in fact, with our society being so obsessed with physical perfection, almost everyone who can afford them got them in this town. i personally don't believe in them unless someone's teeth are seriously deformed. i don't think i needed them. i had a gap in my teeth, but so does madonna and that never stopped her from doing whatever the fuck she pleased. hmmmph. sorry, a little bitter.
yeah, that is part of the pain of braces. i'd definitely keep some sugarless gum on 'ya at all times so you can chew the gum after lunch and get all the gunk out if you don't have time to brush your teeth at school.
