seriously, though, why do people mock mcdonald's food so much but still pile up at the sonic or other fast food outlet? i don't get that. it's like "OMG! I WOULDN'T LET MY CHILD BE CAUGHT DEAD WITH A HAPPY MEAL!" but then they go to pizza hut or something. people are kinda stupid sometimes.

I don't even like McD's anymore, once you go off it, you're off it for good, it doesn't even taste good to me anymore, last time i had it I felt like throwing up, this coming from a guy who grew up on the stuff. That might have something to do with me ordering a 6 beef patty hamburger.

i ate some live veil the other day, shipped from haiti, made by hand by starved ethiopians in a sweatshop run by illegal mexican immigrants filled with preservatives only legal in 4th world countries. it was delicious and is now on the to go line for the beaurocrats at the upper side of mcdonalds. You should also consider the amount of trees they cut down to get all the paper they use, the very miserable animals they use in their food (if there is any meat at all, that is), as well as the amount of garbage they generate world wide. Also, this aplies for all fast foods, not only McDonalds.

Edit: I also forgot to add the fact that when you pay, most of the money goes into publicity, and not the actual food. Where do you think they get the money to cover most cities in the world with their huge signs? That's right, you're paying it when you go have their "food".

Everything we buy has a marketing budget attached to it.
I think they made 6 billion in 2007, so most of there money does not go to advertising.
