It's true (assuming of course we rule out the infinite joints theory):
"I smoke two joints in the morning, I smoke two joints in the night, I smoke two joints in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright."
So far we got six joints.
"I smoke two joints before i smoke two joints, and then I smoke two more."
So we can multiply all those by three for a total of 18.
"I smoke two joints in time of peace and two in time of war."
No matter what time it is, he has to smoke two joints for that, and then two before that and two after...for a total of 24 joints a day! He must either have servants or import them by the crateload because that's 8760 joints a year, and 8784 on a leap year.

Also: If it changes from peace to war in the same day...six more joints for a total of 30 joints.

both sublime and bob marley have done great versions that song before im not for sure but i think that bob marley did it first however b/c he started his music career about thirty years before sublime and died before they really came onto the music scene so unless bob marley took the original copy from sublime while they still lived with there parents and nobody knew who they were i think the credit goes to bob marley however sublimes version is equally as good, but i also think that only a few verses of the song may have been taken and the rest is original but what the fuck do i know

"smoke two joints" was originally by a reggae band, i believe they were called <the toys> or something like that, then bob marley covered it and then sublime covered it later.

 

I stand corrected. I had no idea that Bob Marley wrote that one, I've never heard it. It just doesn't seem like something he would write. I know he liked smoking pot, but I never thought he'd write something so direct about it.

Marley never even recorded it, the only version available of it is a bootleg.

All I know is that 2 dudes with the 2nd name 'Kay' wrote it.

 

he wouldnt smoke two for time of peace and time of war, so no I'm not stupid, unless you're suggesting that it is possible for it to be war time and peace time in the same country at the same time. (of course it could change from peace to war in the same day, but he would have to smoke two joints before and after these two smokings of joints.

sublime did a cover of it and so did bob marley BEFORE sublime. i dont even know who did it first, but i actually dont think it was marley. but, the marley version is much better than the sublime version in my opinion so if ya havnt heard it, i would check it out

 

As someone mentioned earlier, but for some reason was ignored, its by a band called the toyes, in no way was it written by bob marley. I don't think he would have been so blatant.
