If there was a "hero" of sorts that could cure Anorexia Nervosa, what could they do to fix it? Like actual things, not "He could fly around the world and make every little girl feel good about herself with his magic wand"
make them say 'you are the master' and if they don't make them watch a disney movie backwards so like they'll see bambies mother not get shot they'll see buzz lightyear and woody have just a boring remote control car chase gone ary and then they'll see the lion kings father defy gravity and jump up to the wall
i wrote all of my congressman (from my state) to help put an end to sites like proana.com .. they didnt respond (well, one did.. and lied and said the site was taken down). but thats the best i can do. i think the best thing we can do for anorexics, or anyone anywhere, is to love their true beauty and let that love show.
ah..those sites i don't think they 'make people anorexic' they have these little tips, but anyone might do that for a week and then get tired of it when their parents decide to go out to eat.. you can't get an ED from a website..trust me but that's a good one..i'm gonna put it in my paper.. hah
oh i know you cant get the addiction from it. but the fact that they are telling people how to, in the long run, kill themselves is disgusting.
genocide the supermodels who were unreasonably thin, cause hyperthyroidism to be cured, retroactivly change modern media images of beauty to something realistic, and have special places to go for everyone who was anorexic that they could recover at their own pace in an enviroment that was entirely encouraging of them to change..... I do not know enough to know if any genetic modification would be nessescary......
i know... and i fully believe in freedom of speech. but i think the information needs to be presented differently (since its going to be said by someone somewhere).. like instead of a "how to" guide.. they could go "this is what i've found in my experience". instead of directly telling people how to starve themselves to death.
its not banning freedom of speech. i think writing a how to guide on how to starve oneself to death should be considered assisting in murder. aren't they assisting by telling you how? .. its the way i see it. anyway, i didnt write a bill. i just wrote some congressman asking them to look into the legality of the sites.
there are already tenets governing freedom of speach, it's illegal to libel someone, to slander them, to purger yourself in court, to lie to a federal agent (that one is actually bullshit, but the rest fit the litmus) there are guidelines everywhere, accept certain rational realities....
okay, so why not ban all literature that could be considered "harmful"? including books about drugs. and don't mess with my drugs biatch. :$
so you feel it should be legal to lie in court if it gets someone wrongfully executed? I should be able to say whatever I want? I should be able to say that someone is a murderer and that they brutally killed someone just so that I can make a civil suit against them after I lose the criminal suit fo rlack of evidence and then siphon off their money till they die?
