Im not in the relationship with the person i went on the pill for now so i dont know if i should just quit the pill, wait untill the end of this months course and THEN quite or stick it out for a few months and see what happens.

hm. dunno. the only time i bled continuously was with the depo shot. i went off it, but i know other's who stuck it out with their particular medicine until it stopped. but i'd still get checked up, just to make sure it is in fact due to the medicine and not some other problem.

My experience is only with the older types of pill, so I'm not sure I'm going to be much help, but I would go and get it checked out, it doesn't sound right to me.

Just thinking if you don't want to go to the doctors there is the NHS advice line service thingummy that you could look up in the phone book and ask them about it.

Or since you don't need it contraceptive wise at the moment?? ( hugs to you by the way ) maybe just stop taking it and see what happens while you wait for your doctors appointment to come up.

Oh my god, did you guys break up? :( Awww babe - big hugs for you.

As for the pill, I think you should ditch it, and perhaps, try a new one if you can afford. Try an estrogen based pill rather than a progesterone one, I find its awesome, of course everyone is different, but after trying loads of progesterone pills and having exactly the same problem as you, I switched and have never looked back.

That happened to me when I was on a low-dose estrogen pill. I needed a higher dose because I was having two-week long periods every two weeks. It pretty much sucked.

I heard that some pills can cause abnormal bleeding, be it spotting or whatever, in the first time you take it. chances are, it's just normal, but if you feel insecure, you should have it checked.
