(i walked up these steps on last weekend) I love this photo, i think its beeautifully taken really makes the most of the steps! Infact i think it makes the steps look even better than real life!

I like the darkness at the bottom of the stairs, and the light at the top. Very allegorical of a number of religions.
I like. I think I would have liked it less if you had shot it from the top of the stairs looking down.
It's a great shot. The building at the top takes away from the ideal or adds a mundane quality to the decent. Maybe that's what you were looking for.
