I have been on birth control since I turned 17, I am 20 now. For a long time everything was fine but then I noticed my sex drive dwindling. I was always terrible about remembering to take it, so I just stopped. Then my face broke out like crazy so I decided to try the patch. I was off for a few months and the whole time i could have masturbated 20 times a day. Now since I have gone on the patch it is gone again. Has any one else experienced this? Do you have any advice?

Well thanks hormones make us crazy. I also wanted to add that the patch really sucks. Does anyone know how to keep it from peeling?

have you tried a different brand? A low hormone type of pill? they tend to have fewer effects like that

The pill I was on was one of the low dose ones and i don't know about the patch but I will check that out. Not to freak you out Silly Angel, my friend had depo and now she can't have kids. She has PCOS but it still freaks me out. I don't like my period, but I don't like not having it.

hmmm, I'd talk to your doctor, see if s/he has any suggestions on waht to do. Probably switching to another brand of low dose pills is gonna work, but the doctor will have more info than I do.
