I'm a writer. Not a very good one, but a writer nonetheless! So, it is because of this simple fact that I'm starting up this brand new thread. Within these virtual walls I may showcase odd assortments of the poems, stories and songs that I come up with. Some of it will be new, while some of it will be old and possibly re-written. Oh, and I'm hoping this is a thread that will be continually updated... Whenever I feel like updating it. __________ 04.09.05 Nightgown wings and lavendar hues White lace curtains and summer blues Kissing the wind away tonight Moonlight passions turn to cry, "Bring me the head of a man!" __________ What One Calls "Darkness" In the darkness One becomes everything And everything is one There is no beginning And there is no end (If there ever was an end before) Endless streams of midnight silk Shift across the midnight sky Through the age-old nights, Tears in the cloth, Stars shine through and Are scattered across this midnight sky Where they dance about the earthly lights Are you with them now? Another star is born Another lonely soul, perhaps, Birth, death, embodiment of all, Love Hatred, destruction, laughing, weeping Love Shifting across the sky, Night envelops us in his arms Devours us whole Will you fight with me? Or will you fall with me? Trust... Don't be so afraid of the dark, my child Surrender your senses, Let fall your defenses and You'd never know it was there before! When darkness opens her jaws in absence of the moon, A thousand cries are unearthed, A thousand fears reflected In the black pearls of her eyes Those of a thousand, frightened, lonely men Around a thousand cold and arctic fires None will speak of the horror before you None have ever needed to Your heart will beat itself to death What is there to fear, my child? When darkness opens her arms And whispers words of love upon the wind Maybe then, Fear is not all it once seemed Darkness is only what you cannot see, For now, Expand your mind! Is it not beautiful? So surrender To this sweet intoxication Surrender all your senses, And savor these caresses Darkness loves And darkness feels Where a thousand sighing stars Leap within an arm's reach Where the nightingale sings And sweet love is known To the single white rose Who dared to dream Where the snow reflects a thousand whispered wishes When the willow sings of a longing sadness That your heart will, If prayers be told, Never need to know again Dance with the stars And let the night time Steal your fears away Don't be afraid of the dark, Expand your mind! __________ Midnight's Eyes What can you do When there is nothing left to cry for? These tears lay hidden Behind bright blue eyes, Hazel tints in the sunlight's shine, Copper brown and bright green flash... Lightning strikes above. On earth with you, I see the reflection, A broken mirror In Midnight's Eyes. When there are no more tears left to cry, All used so long ago. Songs have never been, Never will be. It's so silent, My Midnight. Dry eyes, aching soul. Touch me. What is this like? I have forgotten. Waxen angels beneath heavens door, Arms lifted in praise, Blue eyes Crying, Smiling. Waxen child upon the warehouse floor, Arms tucked beneath his chin. Blue eyes Crying, Alone. How does it feel? How does this appear? Touch me... But will you love me? Silent cries, my pleas. Where have all the heroes gone? A sliver slicing through a bleeding heart. Un-spoken words go un-noticed, To an un-appealing crowd. Words, Tears, From Midnight's Eyes Waiting in the dark for a light to appear, I have groped this black room's walls To no avail. Is this a cage? This eye above me, Staring all the time. You cannot see me, You cannot see me, Please, Turn away so I may be afraid. To Midnight Eyes, Why, this Lack of hope, Lack of light. What does it mean to cry? I have forgotten. Empty Silent Hazel Eyes __________ What Webs We Weave Silent prayers and whispered music, Raindrops falling upon my soul. A panel of glass seperating Man's subconscious and the dying world. An angel's tears, the wings of a cherub. The light of millions of golden eyes. A flash of lightning, nature's power. Another wingless faerie dies. Raindrops falling, nature singing. The Mother walking upon Her Earth. Children crying, scared of thunder. Not knowing what angels' tears are worth. Here we lay, fallen saviours, Each of us without our wings. Trapped inside our feeble minds. What could happiness ever bring? We lock ourselves into this box. Our Soul's own calling we chose to leave. Our Mother weeping her tears of loss. Oh, what webs we weave... __________ Tired of dreaming hopeless dreams, This little girl lies down to sleep. Rests her little, blonde head against her little, lacey pillow, Feather soft to cradle new prayers, new hopes and sweet dreams. __________ Disappointment How many more promises can be made? How many promises must face the fate to be broken? A thousand words, a thousand shards of glass Aiming for a bitter heart! Spilled blood of Promise Spilled blood upon the ashen floor, Upon an ashen soul... Rumours stirred at a teardrop, Dreams deceased, Thoughts left unspoken. Feelings set to mend, Feelings better off left broken... Must aging dreams be left to die? A silent creature re-awoken, A black beast tearing at the heart's strings! ___________ Beauty's Name Misty, pale, beautiful, There she stands Beneath my windowsill Light blue eyes See through me, A fallen angel at her feet. Shivering, so cold, alone Come to me, my sweet unknown, Tell me your name. Beautiful girl, What is your name?
Shall We Dance? Her sea-green eyes ran appraisingly along the aspiring thief's slender form. With a suggestive raise of her eyebrows, she at once stopped following, and, instead, began to lead their dance of death. She locked her eyes with his, her feet stepping ever so lightly, her body twisting and turning ever so slightly with every graceful turn she took. Her movements were so lithe; it was as though she was dancing to some un-heard beat -- perhaps to the sweet serenade of the sirens. The very same sirens, he knew, that tempted and called to her every day of her life. They cried eternally within her soul... The cried with the call of the sea, the call of freedom! Sparks flew and the pirate queen's blade sang as it rushed along his own. The dust settled and there she halted for the slightest moment, head cocked high and her face alighted by a grin. For this moment alone, she effortlessly held his blade at bay, a seductive glint beaming from within her ocean eyes. While their blades still grappled, each in seek of the upper hand, she managed to take a daring step towards him. Laughing softly as her face came only inches from his own, she ran her pink and pointed little tongue across her pink and succulent, little lips. To the thief's utter disbelief, she seemed amused, if not aroused, by their conflict. Had she no fear of loss, of death, of him?! "So, boy, will ye be givin' me coin back now? Or..." Oh, but she was close enough to kiss! And he could hear the ragged arousal in her breath! What was he to think, to do, to feel? This sweet, bloodthirsty thing who could take your life in a heartbeat and gather you lovingly into her arms the next... "Shall we dance?" He knew he was beyond hope. __________ On a complete side note, what's in my signature is part of a poem I wrote for my better half. Currently, he's the only one with a good copy. All that is here is what I pulled from memory. Kissing under the apple tree Let them stare, let them see I'm just fifteen! What's a care for the world When you're in love like me?
Rich and powerful images speaking in a mature collection of experiences. The offering is filled with rumbling and cascading elements. Comfortable in its sinking and soaring motions... I'm enjoying seeing something new with each visit.
Make a wish upon a shooting star Sing a song to the moon, so far Beneath the ocean where the mermaids cry Sit a while, spend some time With me, and all you'd never see If you never took the time to be Stop and smell the roses, Lay down and feel the rain Trust your love to catch you now, Let go of what is pain You want your seven-figure paychecks, You want your classy cars.... But aren't you the one Who taught me to dream? Walk with me, talk with me, Show me who you are. Let's hold hands today And laugh a little, too Dream your dreams, but stay in touch And I'll always be the one for you I'll sing you sweet to sleep, With lullaby, butterfly, Baby boy and midnight skies, Oh, Your kisses taste Like Cinnamon __________ Drown you out, Drown me out, Drown it all away... In the chords, Rippling melody, Burning, searing melody! __________ Once upon a time, in a land so far away There was a girl who could never find the words to say This boy, you see, who made her smile Had stolen her heart and whisked her away Late at night, when the stars shone bright He'd hold her tight and she'd sigh so happily When the world's alright, you see, Nothing really bothers you at all Nothing really bothers me at all This little princess, this shy little girl, Had come to own the entire world When he'd hold her hand, crack a smile And tell her eyes they need not cry, because One day she would rise, Rise above it all! Alone in their bed with the moon up high, There would be no sin, there would be no crime, Only two young lovers beneath the stars' shine Innocence and bliss and rapture all in one And while nothing is forever, love is like the sun And he knew, from day one, 'til the end of the run When the service was done, It was he whom she'd loved all along, (Best friends and blessings)

What do you mean, you're not a good writer?! I must disagree! EDIT: Damn, and you're only 15! I'm almost jealous, haha.
It is at this point that I must remark: all of the ancient hebrew and arab prophets were poets... though in the supposed holy scriptures that misinterpret them this is whitewashed. Much Love, friend.
Thank you so much for all the positive comments! I wish love and happiness for you all, as you've brightened my day so. A smile is contagious.

Thereby was her wish fulfilled in the burst of red. Yet the veils dissolve slowly. Move ever forward, unafraid.
Buttermilk upon young mother's bosom Drip drop down to velvet's milky core Twist and twine upon red curls To nectar, divine Vanilla musk drives me wild Between milky limbs upon satin waves Green and hazel clash, mid-air battles Through the cries of war Come screams of Herod Be Narcissus with me and Love me, love me, need me... Take me! Merry mother, I am thirsty, Let me drink!

'Tis here thine child doth lay safe from harm. __________ Contemplation In my tomb I contemplate my life. The passions Of love, The passings of Pain, And the simple joys Of friendship. Alone amongst decay, Distraught -- at peace, I contemplete all Life. __________ A Lamentation of Time and Loss Yet this I call to mind, As the walls collapse about me. In the joys of times past, In the joys of times lost... Where were you? Oh, he whom holds my heart! When the fires and the roses fell, While the children cried and the black shroud of death embraced the land, Could you feel my need? Oh, he whom holds my heart, Were you near that day, In the years the flowers came? That night I danced And soon fell to tears? Oh, he whom holds my heart, I see you now! Wild stallion beyond the horizon, A mirage, if not for the memory Of a marble soul in black, Grieving for the children you never knew... Oh, but what tortures be if you cannot run free? Away, away, from the home you never knew! Into the mist and the dawn of a new day, a new life... And this I call to mind, As the new sun sets on another old day: Oh, he whom holds my heart, Oh, father of loss, Once love and once life... Where is it upon these plains you roam? __________ Frozen Fire Frozen fire, trapped in water; Angels reaping death on high! Silent music Weaving murder, Death is screaming One last lie. The one last hero, All I want... Show me love And show me life! Sing to me of my rebirth, Sing to me an end of strife! Sing to me of my new world, Sing to me of our new life! Teach me once again to love, And let me soar, A dreaming dove! Frozen fire, flowing water, Forests green, The world's rebirth! Now we are Dear heart and lover, One forever with the earth! __________ When Angels Cry Tears are raindrops when angels cry, For the blunders and errors we mortals make. Their wings, the wind, caressing me, As their voices, soft and sweet, Whisper sweet nothings for my ears alone. Teardrops swelling in blue-grey eyes -- The color of the clouds -- Until they fall into my open palms... An angel crying in my open arms! And when the lightning strikes And the tears abate, My crying angel flits away Until it rains again.
"Sing to me of my rebirth, Sing to me an end of strife! Sing to me of my new world, Sing to me of our new life! Teach me once again to love, And let me soar, A dreaming dove!" Far from it! I should like to girt you with a sword and send you into the world to strike the fetters from the necks of the slaves! It is for the sport that we dash back into Life, risking our very own souls(I can here only chuckle). The Buddhists have bodhisattvas, but we, what are we? You are a volcano lying dormant, and the lava floweth over the lip of thy summit.... the eruption awaits. Indeed might it be that you will rise from the Great Sea, a shining beacon unto those who sail it, Light, sublime, prevailing into the Night of Ever-time. I give this gift to you, an energy display, bursting from my heart, to carry you up, and away. Much Love
Found a couple old poems/songs and decided to post them. __________ My bittersweet, my bride to be, My melodramatic drama-queen. So bittersweet, these memories... So bittersweet, so beautiful. I love it, I hate it; Now sing me to sleep. My bittersweet baby, How great you are! Again and again, You break my heart. But, oh, I worship you, Taste you, feel you, want you, Bittersweet baby, I'm addicted to you. Held fast by your leash, My bittersweet, My dying queen, And Mistress of my mind, Who cradles not a child, Not a lover, not an idol, But a memory of who She once was, And who she will never be again. So bittersweet, these memories. And yet how I long for your gripping claws With... The passion in your eyes, And the fire in your breast, And the flavour of your lips! Your tingling taste, Oh, my bride to be! Lucious on a bed of roses, As the bittersweet wipes your memory. My goddess, where are you, As you loved me so... You fade. My blissful bittersweet, I think I love you. __________ This one is... wow. I wrote this in grade 8 for an English assignment. o.o; Feathered bed with silken sheets On silver plates sit chocolate treats Velvet curtains laced in gold Ruby rings, so deep and cold Lovely clothes in which to dress Golden curls and golden tress Skin like ivory, eyes like sky An angel without the wings to fly 'A queen' is what the gossip said But don't you know, the queen is dead? Those white, silk sheets now stained to red A dagger lodged within her heart Enchanting, like some long-lost art Just wait until the cries will start For someone killed the queen. __________ Rain Tiny droplets, falling freely From the sky, into my life. Cascading all about my open arms. Decorating my cheeks, my eyelashes, my smile, With tiny pearls of beauty. Walking along in the green spring grass, Those tiny drops still falling. I smile, The water caressing me. The sound of each droplet, Hitting its mark, It's music to my ears. The sensation of each one Pressing against my flesh, A cool feeling of relief and pleasure. Thunder, The sound of a father's booming, loving laughter. Lightning, The figures of children Dancing in the sky. The wind, A mother's loving whisper, As she coos her baby to sleep. Tiny droplets, falling freely. From the sky, into my life. Cascading all about my open arms. Decorating my soul, my heart, My smile. __________ Sometimes it's nice to look back at things like these and realize how far you've come in such a short amount of time. I do say I'm rather proud of myself right now.
