Who that was for U? For me, I saw The Tubes at a bar where only ten others were in attendance. They were really great.
Awesome!^^^ Best I got is Johnny Winter at a supper club in Seattle. Goddamn what a great show...what there was of it. Some asshole threw his drink on Johnny's guitar about an hour or so in... that ended the show with johnny yelling into the mic " Who's the motherfucker that threw their fucking drink on my fucking guitar!!!"
Does before they got big count here? SCI -30-40people. Yonder Mountain- 70-75 people HamsaLila-10 really into it people.
Ha! We almost got Mirabal at the folk venue I worked. 300 seats. Then he won an award and the manager tried to up the fee. We canceled.
Bruce Springsteen ,, a bar in Canonsburg Pa.,.. He played 3 or 4 songs. he wasnt there to perform., he was traveling and stopped to eat food and drink beer... Oh and this one time, my friend and I walked into some club and there was that whinny drummer dude from metallica. Lars. really, I never brag about either these experiences.
2001. The show had gotten bumped from a larger venue and the small venue accommodated them at the last minute. It was a fantastic show! I had goosebumps throughout. The small venue just amplified everything about the show and the Native Americans in the audience hooping and calling as they can was an added bonus; it just echoed in there like we were in a Painted Cave. I will never ever forget that show. They did an encore of All Along The Watch Tower which further blew me away. I remember being transfixed during "The Dance" as tears streamed down my face. Very powerful. I was beyond moved. It touched a spot in me. There is a somewhat boring review of the show here:http://www.earcandymag.com/rmiraballive.htm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_znb0MlHTY"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_znb0MlHTY
Sudsy Malones in Cincinnati is a laundrymat in the back with a bar and tiny stage in the front room. You actually stand at the bar watching the band and there are people on the other side of the room doing their wash. Nirvana, 1988.
