best job

what do you guys think is the best job for a stoner?

 

i work at a retail store and it's the shit, all i do is sit in the back and bring shit up to the front occasionally, i always go blazed, so easy and laid back

 

work at taco bell

 

i start my job at a ci ci's pizza soon. wut do yall think thats gonna be like. dude a pizza buffet for a stoner and no drug screening.

 

Retail? Fastfood? I don't know about you guys, but I find those jobs totally uninspiring. And as a smoker, that's not good. I'm into mind expansion, so mind rotting jobs aren't gonna be ideal. I voted outdoor work because at least you're outside. Even if it's just mowing lawns or something. Even that is cool, because you're making places look good. And you're outside.

 

Musician.

For musical stoners at least.

Musical Stoners would be a fun band name.

 

i work at a restaurant. i'm a prep cook! it's fun most of the time. i get to listen to music if i want to, and i eat whatever i want really. it's good pay too. Maybe not for other people's standards. but honestly, i don't need more than what i get, right now. so i'm fine with that.


an independent music store would be the shit, man. you could blast whatever you want, you get to talk about music all day, you meet new (probably cool)people, you can get wacky in the backrooms with either your hot(or not)coworker, or with a little ganja!

i also like micha's idea of a musician. i mean, it's pretty self explanatory. you smoke, you paly, you smoke sum-mo'!

I used to work at Starship Enterprises, which is a headshop/pornshop. I got fucking blazed and went to work. I just walked around looking at bongs and porn the whole time, and I sold more bongs than anybody else. We also sold salvia extracts, 6-foot hookahs, lettuce opium, scales, herbal highs, and a whole bunch of other shit. I ended up getting fired because I came to work TOO HIGH TO SELL BONGS.

It was, but it only lasted 2 weeks.

 

no kidding eh? I worked 1 fast food job in my life, and i'll never ever work in that industry again, it messed me up good, I found myself saying 'have yourself a great day' to my friends because i said it so often at work...

In my opinion weed or other drugs don't belong in the workplace, but i say that because i work in an industry where if i did come to work high, I'd probably end up injuring myself, or botching the job at hand (which means very serious reprocussions).

But as BTM said, something outdoors is nice...landscaping, forest ranger, things like that....

lol I do tech support for roadrunner, that works pretty well for me.
Computer programmer has worked well in the past, smoking cronic all day, coding and listening to music

 

Oh I agree, no smoking at work, ever...not for me. I thought the question was about stoners in general, not about being high at work.

Probably a musician because that would be a fun job....

I would want to work at a head shop if I couldn't make it as a musician though...

 

heh i work at coldstone...pretty sweet job. make icecream for little kids with all the colorful mixins, eat all the icecream i want, chill out in back most of the time...and were technically stoners!! (get it?! =D)

 

UPS man would be fun- i think. you get to be outdoors, sometimes meet people. and people are always happy to see you around. plus, other than the driving, it's not a very dangerous/stressful job.
