Umphrey's Mcgee and Furthur (Best GD band since Jerry!). I've been seeing Umphrey's since 2004 and they just keep getting better and better. I make sure never to miss them within a 3 hour radius! They know how to throw a party.

sure did. Plus the La Zona Rose in Austin, and the HOB in Dallas. I think Dallas was the best of the 3. Or maybe it was just the L

    More advanced in what way?

No band out there jams as emotionally as String Cheese. They're music is overwhelmingly powerful. Its not all about the technicality behind the musicianship, though String Cheese are very advanced there. Jam music is about the vibes and power of the music, there is no band better suited for psychadellics and festivals in the world than String Cheese. They are kings of the current festival scene as far as I'm concerned.

MMW sounds great but they are not lifechanging. SCI is.

The Houston show was my first concert other then creed when i was like 12. Man it was so amazing. Opening with Jazz Odyssey to Wizard Burial Ground was nuts. I was hoping to score some L or molly there but Houston is bad for finding cid, even at concerts from what I hear.
