Arthur was friggin awesome. I loved the tv episodes. I can't remember the names of the books I used to read when I was young. I know there was goosebumps and horrid henry later on...
The Moomin books! I still love the Moomins. Also, anything by Astrid Lindgren, but particularly Pippi Longstocking. And Roald Dahl's books too, I loved Matilda when I was little.
I Was Never Really Into Childrens (fantasy) Books. But I Loved Factual Adventure Books, Like The Story Of "Biggles" , Who Was A Fighter Pilot In WW2. My Second Fave Was Anything I Could Read That Might Have Explained What Really Happened To The "Titanic". Heavy Reading For One So Young, Agreed, But I Was Mesmorized By Them. NO FAIRYTALES FOR THIS FAIRY THANK-YOU...... Cheers Glen.
Loved The bearenstein bears, alexander's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, cloudy with a chance of meatballs, the giving tree, all the dr. seuss books. I am putting a collection together of my favorite children's books for my niece. I want her to know books and appreciate how wonderful reading is.
I liked authors Judy Blume and Constance C. Greene... You have got me all nostalgic...I may have to check out the library...
my favorite i couldnt find a picture of, though, it was called whiffle squeak, and it was about this cat which was also a sailor or something. idk. it was cool though! but my real favorites when i was a kid were like folk stories
