I've heard loads of people saying great things about Firefox recently and wondered what you guys thought the best browser was?

I've used IE and Opera myself but never Firefox.

It's definitely worth downloading. :D One of my favorite features is clicking on links with the middle mouse button to have it open in a new tab in the background, it's so useful. :D And then it's got other useful stuff like the find feature.. Hit "/" and a box pops up and you can have it find stuff, highlight it etc. :D

I have to also advise to go for Firefox.
Hitherto I've had no problems with anything.
You can also run I.E. at the same time if it's needed, etc.
    Best of both worlds.

Firefox used to be my favorite browser, but I've since turned to Opera. I do miss the extensions available for Firefox though. Although Firefox doesn't have the elite magic wand.

I use firefox - its purely because of the spyware/pop ups that I got with IE. I really don't care at all about features - I just want pages to load quickly and never have a pop up. My only problem is that I still get pop - ups from internet explorer. It drives me f'n nuts - I've tried everything to kill that pesky program, complete get rid of it and its pop ups, but haven't been able to put the bastard away for the life of me. It drives me nuts. When the day comes that I buy another computer, I will only do so if I am absolutely guaranteed that there is no internet explore program installed.

Internet Explorer is a part of the Windows Operating System. The only way you're going to get a computer that doesn't have it on it is if you get a computer with another Operating System installed on it such as Linux. You have spyware on your computer. That is the only thing that would cause you to have popups.

Firefox before v1.0.3. worked quiet well.

I'm seeing/reading of Folks having quirky things with v1.0.3.
I rolled back to v1.0.2 and things are fine again.
