There are a lot of music fans in Seattle too, the shows are always packed...... One of my favorite bands from the 90's is Brainiac......my friend joined the band and they got pretty big on a worldwide scale until the singer died in a car wreck in 1997....definitely some interesting and revoltionary stuff....
my fav band The Westminster Abbey is playing in seattle tomorrow (wish i could go i think they are one of the best bands since the 90's, what do you think? www.thewestminsterabbey.com www.purevolume.com/thewestminsterabbey
best band out of the 90's is the other onesbecause thats when they officialy formed but the best fresh face is the derek trucks band
I think it's Blind Melon. I'm pretty sure they formed in '89 but didn't put anything out untill after '90 anyway....so they get my vote.
How about Alice In Chains or Stone Temple Pilots or Pearl Jam or Soundgarden or Rage Against The Machine or the Red Hot Chili Peppers (They were out before 1990, but didn't make it "BIG" until then) or Oasis or Cake or Green Day or Prodigy or nirvana or WEEN! or Beck honorable mentions: garbage, collective soul, soul coughing, faith no more, the toadies, live.......
One word.....NIRVANA!!!!!!!! Just because of Kurt, Krist and Dave, their sound and the way they changed music forever!
Smashing Pumpkins, the best band of the early 90s alt. movement, haven't been named? What are you people, stupid?
