20ish.. not to say that you won't be "just fine" - plenty of people your age have experimented, but it's unknown what their brains would have been like had they not. Kennit?

No idea, wholly dependent on the user.

Jesus christ! 15 is to fucking young. You can't even drive to go pick them up! Not trying to rag on you man, but this is crazy. 15 is to young. Wait till 17 at the very least. Most people use psychs to change the world, you hardley know what it is like now!

Concentrate on the natural things in life that bring joy now. Like sex :D Thats what I did. I mean, of course you wont die or anything. But how bad does the consequence need to be? Just chill for a little while. Don't take offense. If you get mad then you are just looking for someone to say its okay. You are not even past one of the most important brain development stages! (not saying your dumb kid, its just psychology)

Hope you have willpower enough to hold back for a little while.

start using psychedelics in infancy! 8 months of age is probably old enough.

i was 16 when i used psychedelics for the first time though. there's really no rulebook when it comes to this kind of thing. infact, throw out the books. there is going to be no guide, nothing to tell you whether you are 'right' or 'wrong', or whether you are going in a positive direction. only yourself. ask yourself, are you ready for that?

Desos, definitely the role model. If he did it at 16 then you should too!

Telling a 15 year old to use drugs is not a good idea...

Fuck the Ph.Ds and MDs, Desos is the new master of all worlds. The research doesn't matter at all, only what you want to do. :p

IMO it is entirely based on the way you use them. I know people who went in looking to "get fucked up" and that's exactly what happened. I also know people who have used them for spiritual/mind opening purposes and been quite successful. Your age is a number, which is a very general way of measuring your level of awareness/maturity. Trust your instincts and Know why you are choosing to do these things. My first "real psychedelic trip" was mushrooms at 16. Best idea I ever had. It's the individual that matters.

You don't yet understand that you will change the entire way you think.

There is nothing physical that will harm you. In fact psychedelics have been noted to improve circulation in the brain, Albert Hoffman (discovered lsd) microdosed on lsd for decades to improve brain function and for mental stimulation.

There is nothing wrong with your lack of understanding regarding the psychedelics though. I do not mean to put this observation offensively or in a way that belittles you, it's nothing of the sort. But at 15, do you think you are ready to change the entire way you think and live? How about introduce yourself to a new layer of reality, or whatever importance you place on this place you live in? As you can see there are a lot of questions you will ask yourself, a lot of things you will realize and think about.

Listen. Reality can be a slap in the face, terribly saddening at times, other times jubilant and euphoric and exciting. You will find this out throughout your life. But this will be more apparant when you eat psychedelics. There are many things you will discover, learn, and deal with. Life takes on new dimensions, new meaning; as you can see, you will be changing your life if you take this deeper. But change is what it's all about

Many people here on this forum need to, as one of my old trippin' buddies used to say, "give up the flying saucers, baby!"

LSD itself will not change you. It can help you see new perspectives...

The choice to act within a new perspective remains your own.

the sweet spot is before you're so old that you cannot learn from the trip, but not so early that you're too young to learn from the trip. this spot is different for everybody.

i would like to see a 80 year old person take a high dose of LSD or a tryptamine for the first time. I wonder if the proportion of people with difficulty integrating psychedelia does in fact increase with time or if it is not temporally linked but just a matter of what kind of person you are.

You age also measures your developmental stage... Age means a lot more than maturity or what youve been through. I SERIOUSLY know a 30 year old that acts younger than my 18 y/o bro. I would say extremely general if none at all. However, it does show you have far along their body has developed. Of course his mind could be ready, but its better to just lay off! What in life is so boring at 15 that you have a major urge to use psychs? You are still learnng about yourself. 15 is to young no matter how you look at it. Its "best" to wait more. There is no doubt about it.

Am I the only person that likes to take care of myself and my community? >_>

I seem to have found a way of looking at it where 15 is not too young. It is "best" to learn for yourself what is "best" for YOU. I do not think that 15 would be too young for everyone. For some people it may be far too young. I started about that age and I truly believe that it was one of the best decisions I have made. Yes, psychedelics can have a major effect, but it always comes down to YOU.

As for the last point, I quite sure that all of us are trying to take care of each other and ourselves. Just because we offer different advice does not mean someone is "wrong" and someone is "right". Besides, I have a hunch that our friend DreamMachine is going to experiment regardless of what you think.

I agree that he will probably do it anyways, but its better for him to not. Like I said, just because he can learn from it and not die doesn't mean its best long term for your health. Thu eind...
