Hello, this week is my annual journey to Berlin. Regular readers might know that I hate it. I hate it since ever and I already know that I will hate it next year. Anyways, to pep it up a bit I hide something between my socks, my shirts and my spiffy shoes: a transmitter, a broadband receiver (goes from the low shortwave bands up to the cell phone bands) and two bottles of Cremant d'Alsace. I'll arrive in the French sector. Then I have a meet up in the British sector, maybe there's enough time for a side trip to the American sector. That sounds like fun, doesn't it. I've heard they don't shoot you anymore at the sector borders. We'll see. Regards Gyro
Hello, do you think a few porn mags on top of my socks and shirts will help with the guards? Regards Gyro
What do you hate about Berlin and why would you visit annually then? Berlin is one of my favorite cities, compared to some other German cities it's much nicer.
Hello, OK, I'll see if I find one or two on my way to the east. I've heard the French have, um, instructive mags . Regards Gyro
Hello, well, I hate it. No further reasons needed. Berlin combines all disadvantages of a huge city with the disadvantages of the most rural areas. Their public transportation system is ramshakled, I think even Wostok has a better tram. It's loud in Berlin, it's dirty and the beer is always warm there. Regards Gyro
In Berlin, by the wall you were five foot ten inches tall It was very nice candlelight and Dubonnet on ice

Good morning, Hmm, maybe I have some spare time this week . I can remember AFN playing that song every now and then. But usually they prefer the english version . Regards Gyro
Hello, often songs aren't the same anymore if they got translated. Her native language is German, so she can express herself best in that language I think. On the other hand, sometimes it's just the sound, the music and not the lyrics, that makes a song good. I have to confess that I very rarely listen to the lyrics of a song. Sometimes I can remember a phrase or a whole verse, but most of the time I have no idead what they are singing about . Regards Gyro
