What is it about benadryl that gives you a really bad cotton mouth? Also it feels like theres a lump in my throat when I do it.

 

Benadryl dehydrates the fuck out of you, so of course your mouth is gonna be dry.

 

I know that but I mean WHY does it dehydrate you so much.

 

cause its a anti histamine, Drink water, but even that dont help,, And I cant even stand the taste of 25mg of Diphenhydramine it makes a weird feeling in my throat.. my gf says she likes it for sleep? I think she retarded

 

I noticed last night when I was on it that I would drink class after glass of water. An my mouth would only feel hydrated for a matter of minutes.

 

hold the water in your mouth. how much did you take by the way? arnet you still thirsty today? it does that to me. i bet you were pissing like a fountain too, with dry hair and skin.

 

Ya my hair gets dry on that shit too its wierd. But ya I was still a little thirsty today too. But what sucks is when I do it at school and can only drink water from a fountain every 50 minutes. So what that does to my body is makes it dehydrate for like 3 days.

 

It gives you cotton mouth because antihystimines dry up your muscous membranes, thats what antihystimines are used for.

Can someone explain how it's possible to use Dryl recreationally and not go crazy? Once I only took 100mg and I was hearing voices right next to my head. I didn't even feel good. I wasn't actually scared either, there were just fucking voices.

 

i dont start hearing things unless its like 300 mg. 100 just makes me really sedated and dry. at low doses it can be recreational before you go to bed because it makes you sleepy and tranquill, but i dont think its fun in social situations.

 

Your gf likes it for sleep because it is often used as a sleep medication. Ever look at advil pm or tylenol pm? they contain diphenhydramine. nyquil? contains diphenhydramine. Unisom? diphenhydramine..

Its used both as an anti-allergan AND as a sleep medication.
