I just thought I would open a thread on him, cause I adore this actor! He's so funny, I mean, even when he looks serious, he makes me laugh... his face, his expressions are great, I think. But it's not only that, I also love his acting! My favorite movie with him has to be "Meet The Parents" with De Niro as well (one of my favorite actors). Who else is a fan?
I think his father, Jerry Stiller, is much funnier - especially in his role as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld. I never really found Ben Stiller to be very funny, though I like several of the movies he has stared in.
I thought he was funny in Meet the Parents too. Didn't think I would. He looked hilarious when the brother gave him the baggy hip hop style clothes to wear He was funny in Tennebaums too, when he was timing the kids during the fire drill at his house "2 minutes 47 seconds, we're all dead"
I didn't know he had a father!! lol I mean, yes, I did, he has one like everyone I guess, but I didn't know he was an actor. I'll have to start watching Seinfeld now (never saw it, ever! And Nick keeps telling me about it...)
Yup, this is him. He has stared in many movies over the years, but is probably most famous for his role as George's dad on Seinfeld. Yeah! You should really watch Seinfeld sometime, Laety (even though it's all reruns now that the show is over) - it's a hilarious show! It's the only sitcom ever aired on television that I really like.
Thanks Matt! Yeah this guy looks funny too, I think. I'm gonna start watching Seinfeld as soon as I move to the U.S, cause even though it exists here on Spanish TV, I don't wanna see it in Spanish! I don't think it exists in France, though... or maybe on cable TV...
I love Ben Stiller, he is hilarious. I adore most of his movies: Meet the Parents, Along Came Polly, Zoolander, There's Something About Mary, and others...
I really enjoyed Zoolander, it's my type of comedy. There's Something About Mary and meet The Parents were both worth watching, relatively funny. Along Came Polly was a terrible movie though, the only funny thing in it was the dive instructor...
was he zoolanders manager in zoolander? that movie was hilarious (except for the bit about the may-or-ri tribesman - wtf is a may-or-ri? the closest way to able to type it is mau-ri) anyway, rant over. I do think ben stiller is very funny. I love him in Jack Johnsons video when he is hanging with surfers - funny stuff. I also love the way he works with Owen Wilson in heaps of this movies. They are a great team I think
